Hell is at our gates! Rise up as one of the mighty Hell Warders, an ancient order of heroes with unique powers and abilities, to resist the demon hordes head-on. Push back wave after wave of Hell-spawn with an arsenal of weapons, rip apart their fearsome commanders with powerful hero skills, and deploy your army of knights, archers, and mages to bring the fight back to Hell!

Is it only me who would prefer swords and bows over guns and rockets? If you are a part of my "antique' team then you will definitely like the game.
There are a few maps and a few characters to choose from which makes the game more fun. Also, there is a special upgrade system which allows customizing your hero based on your playstyle. If you like to play aggressively - you can jump on your enemies and fight in a melee range or burst them with some shrapnel, while if you like to defensive playstyle - you can set up some mines and "live" shields.

Pretty fun tower/hero defense game, and the devs seem pretty committed to it and the community. The graphics and musical score fit well, and the heroes have diverse play styles. And while there are balancing issues with the later levels being Hell-ishly difficult and the upgrades needing to be a little more potent, these should get ironed out before the final release.
For the price and enjoyment, worth getting. 8.5/10, with better score when balanced

The game is extremely fun and addictive. A similar game to compare it to is dungeon defenders, but you don't swap out characters and time is limited between each wave. There is a lot of potential here and I hope the developers see the amazing opportunity this game has and go beyond in the customization options outside of the current perk system.
Currently you'll probably get 10-20 hours worth of enjoyment out of the game, maybe more if you have friends that buy into it as well. If you're a tower defense junkie like I am, this game is a must have.
My only complaint so far was the 60FPS cap, which a developer has already responded saying it will be removed in the future when stability increases. That said, I'm running at a solid 60fps with my high end hardware. (5820k and gtx1080) If they keep their word with pushing out bi-weekly updates, I see this game being extremely successful.

Quite an extraordinary tower-defense game with great concept and great effort. Graphics and gameplay are nicely done, and I really enjoyed the game as it demands everything from a player during each battle (like your judgement, intellect and skill). Characters (no matter the good or bad ones) are on point and distinctive as well.
In my opinion some elements could be added in to enhance the playing experience, such as spells, character talent systems and temporary boosts during each battle; and maybe a rewarding system after each victory would also be nice.
Recommending the game to all of you, and hope that more new characters (maybe a supporting character) would be available in later patches. :D

I've been playing the beta and this game is worth more than $15 to me.
First things first, the idea is completely unique. It mix between tower defense, multiplayer RPG style, and action fighting-type games with wave defense. A brilliant 10/10!
Second thing, is the action and gameplay. In terms of gameplay, for hardcore players, this game should certainly be on your list! The hard "Nightmare" mode is extremly difficult. It may be a bit grindy to get to level 25 to max out your perks. There are diffrent ranges of monsters from which they can throw deadly fireballs at you, or just hook with their huge spears. It has 4 maps, I think two of which are pretty hard compared to the others, one isa medium-type one, and one is pretty easy. If you're looking for some challenge to do in your free time and some simple grind, then the game is certainly for you! 9/10.
Third thing is the activity and marketing of the game. While the game isn't extremly popular, nor is it really "hyped", It has a lot of marketing and seems a lot of activity and work has gone into the game. Anytime I've reported any bug, it was no more than a day or two and it was fixed! So I can see that while it isn't overhyped, It's still has accepting and active developers who don't abandon their games. The price is also really low for a game of this standard, so I'd give it 10/10.
Fourth thing is the bugs/issues or common complaints. While I do understand that this is an early access title, this game still falls into a bit of a weaker catogery. The game has multitudes of bugs and issues, alot of quality of life features are missing, for example, the game doesn't mention that you can press M to start creating a game or joining one, if someone is completely new, it might be putting of that you have to walk into the middle of the map everytime you want to start a game or join one. Connecting to games has tons of issues, I try to join games and It says I am connecting but doesn't put me with the player. SIngle player works fine though, so they got that going. I also must mention that these connection issues are problems that happen due to high ping, which causes a lot of server issues. This mostly happens due to the fact that there are no dedicated servers, which I feel the only reasonable thing that might make you dislike the game. There are issues about knowing game information, even the wiki is heavily lacking about information about the game. The tutorial, while explaining the basics should be a little more indepth about how you play the game, like telling you what each building unit does for example. It should also be a bit longer as to make it a more "RPG" feeling. At the end I give this part about a 7/10.
My final rating is: 9/10 (in early access terms ofcourse). If you have time to play or grind or do anything to defend waves in your free time, then the game is certainly for you. If you get freaked out by bugs and issues and get angry at missing QoL features, you should probably wait a bit more then comeback. I recommend this game, in general.

I play a lot of early access games, that means I also refund a lot of them. This game will remain in my library. Its fun, it looks good and the frame rate runs pretty well even with a full 50/50 unit field in play.
So far the only "complaint" I have, is the way joining games are handled. If under the "Ping" column it says "Game Started" you just can't join, at all. Having spoken to the devs, they are working to implement a way to join these games.
Numerous references will be made to games like Orcs Must Die and Dungeon Defenders, which isn't a bad thing. Those games are super fun takes on active tower defense. This game, in my mind, is a welcome addition to that family of games and I look forward to seeing how it progresses.
