Heart is Muscle is a RPG-VN hybrid that takes inspiration from the SaGa games, in which the plot continues to progress, regardless if you’re there or not.

– 7 endings to find, including an unlockable epilogue
– Bake cookies (to restore HP)
– Pet a dog (by punching it). (It’s not hurt, I swear)

Hello! I made Heart is Muscle as a way to teach myself Unity and was so happy with the results I’ve since decided to port it to steam! I hope you have as much fun going around punching things as I did making it.

Borislav just lost a flexing competition to decide the mayor of Swolesville for the next year, and only has 24 hours to contest the results! As fate would have it, an explosion far off in the distance and an unconscious man in a nearby clearing herald far more important matters. Heart is Muscle is not only a scientific fact but the game's central thesis as you have to balance your time wisely on the things that actually matter in the grand scheme, or risk misleading Borislav down a darker path. The story is extra sweet and has a delightful aesthetic, though the UI is spotty in places, but is still commendable for the dev's first time working in Unity. I enjoyed it, and I believe you will too!
