I like the game, but it is NOT worth the $64.90 (SGD) which is about $59.99 (USD). I made the mistake of buying it at full price. It does go on sale occasionally and drops the a very low $9.73 (SGD) or $8.99 (USD) so get it ONLY when there's a sale. As of writing, it is on sale until 14 August 2023.

Finished God Eater 3, a solid Monster Hunting game. Definitely more single player focused and more storyline driven but fights are kinda cool and the soundtrack is great. While the gameplay has this really weird mix of being too loose but also too stiff, it's a weird and unique style of gameplay.
Game also allows me to achieve my dream goals of wearing a dress and swinging a comically oversized hammer at bizarre looking monsters. So that's always a plus. Character customizer isn't as good as Code Vein but there's a variety of options. 10/10

The game's combat system is excellent, but the storyline doesn't match the excitement of the previous generations.

I'm admittedly not sure what to say about this one. Take the review with a grain of salt - I haven't played in several months despite getting all achievements. In times like these, I wish for a "Mixed Opinions" option regarding Steam reviews.
The combat is, for the most part, satisfying (albeit on the easy side more than I'd like). The post-game content is challenging, but if you have little patience you'll likely burn out before even getting close. Multiplayer is handled decently well, but unless you actively handicap yourself during the story this will likely be overkill. Most difficulty is from either extremely damaging enemies or being stuck in a heavy combo by two or more Aragami (the enemies of this game). There's a good variety of equipment (your weapon is a melee weapon, gun and shield all at once - there's replacements for each part). I wouldn't recommend playing the entire story in one go - despite only being about 10 hours if my memory serves, encounters can get quite repetitive very quickly if you do so (especially if you go for all the side missions).
There's decent enemy variety, but not as much as previous games. This game has an issue with recolours, but not a terrible one. The more major enemies have memorable designs, but I find myself only vaguely remembering smaller Aragami.
The story is...there. It wasn't particularly great, but it wasn't terrible either. If you hate anime cliches, please button mash the dialogue to save your sanity. Character development was relegated to post-game (for the most part), but is there if you want that.
Customisation is subpar, in my opinion. Not enough variety of outfits, and when playing a female character I noticed a large amount feel oddly fanservice heavy (Hilda is particularly guilty of this). I've come to expect this from anime games, but it frustrates me regardless. Also, hair colour for players has a bright shine to it with no toggle - actually having matte black hair is impossible to my knowledge.
For someone trying to get into the God Eater franchise, this is a good first step - wait for the game to go on sale - it goes for about 75-85% off quite regularly.
This section is dedicated more to returning GER/GE2RB players, but a new player may find insight here.
Bullet customisation has been nerfed heavily - instead of using OP, you can only pack about 1000 OP worth of bullets, and their prices went up. You can typically pack about four to five extreme-power bullets at most. The Blast gun was replaced with a Raygun too - it takes a while to spool up for decent (albeit not great) damage output. Recommended for healers, but not for anyone who actually uses their gun outside of custom rounds.
Combat is far smoother than the previous games, and the AI isn't as bad as the GE2RB PC port. There's a dash, now, so you don't have to spam short-blade attacks to get from A to B. There's two new melee weapons - dual blades that turn into an all-out-attack with no access to block and a bladed ring that can act like a chainsaw. This is in addition to the Raygun mentioned prior.
You can now equip an aerial, ground and dash Blood Art (now Burst Arts) which only activate when in any level of Burst. I've found I massively prefer this over Blood Arts, since I have more than one good attack. There's also Engage (a buff that allows you and a teammate to share both a buff of your choosing and your Burst level - it's charged by being in combat together).
There's no Blood Rage or Predator Styles, but you do have access to air, quick and charged Devour attacks. While I'll miss Blood Rage's song, I think this is for the best (and the song is remixed into what I'm pretty sure is jazz? I'll have to double check that).
God Eater 3 feels faster than its predecessors - not just because you have more mobility but also because the Aragami seem to die very quickly. I've had two-minute operations multiple times, because the enemy just dropped dead way too quickly.
While I won't spoil any story, there's only one recurring character Soma, who now goes by Ein from Resurrection/Rage Burst - it's quite obvious who. Even in the post-game, though, character stories the events of the Far East branch are only mentioned briefly.

Great game....
however it is not for everyone!
I played monster hunter before and I watched god eater {anime}
that's why I was interested in this game.
here's some cons I found while playing:
the maps are repetitive and awful just like the monsters in this game there's multiple versions of the same enemy.
the game is boring in the beginning {it gets more exciting once you reach rank 5 which is end game)
the characters are shallow and hollow I only liked phym.
the graphics are outdated just like Bethesda's games.
what I liked about the game:
without a single doubt the soundtracks in this game are fire asf.
I also liked the gameplay and the variety of weapons and weapon's skills
Unlike monster hunter world if you don't have friends you can play this game alone Just like I did {there's NPCs that would help you in the missions}
And more importantly you can have a child in this game which is why this game worth playing
