I bought this game because I heard that this game is similar to the Monster Hunter series and after completing 100% achievements, here’s my review:
Overview:
God Eater 3 is a hunting game where you, as a player (Silent Protagonist), hunt a monster called aragami using God arcs. Basically, similar to the Monster Hunter series, there are 8 types of melee weapons, 4 types of long-range weapons (guns) and 3 types of shields and this is what makes the game different from the Monster Hunter series. In Monster Hunter games, you have to choose to use melee weapons or range weapons for the hunt, but in God Eater 3 your weapons can turn into a gun and shield, so you can hunt the aragami from short range and longe range, but the gun ammo is not infinite. You need to fill the ammo by hitting the aragami with a melee attack.
Story:
The story is typical of shounen anime and is about the humanoid aragami called phym
Music:
Oh boy, the music of this game is so banger and, guess what, who is the composer, Go Shiina, the same composer from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, when fought a boss in the game called Nuadha the ost is so similar to the Demon Slayer ost, the name of the ost called Lord of Destruction.
Artstyle:
Well, the animated cutscenes in this game are from ufotable studio, so, technically, the animated scenes are just like watching anime with similar art to The Demon Slayer and Fate.
Conclusion:
This game is similar to the Monster Hunter series with more fast-paced combat and an anime style. The music is totally amazing and, yes, the story is just like any Shounen anime. Overall, I enjoyed the game. This game is 8,5/10 for me cheers.
Pro:
-Great anime artstyle (from ufotable)
-Game is smooth
-Great monster design
-Challenging but not frustrating
-Assault missions with a real player, not an AI
Cons:
- Ammo management is just too complex, and I never craft any custom ammo.
- well, kinda repetitive in the same area
- Assault missions with AI, like for real we need to hunt a boss with 5 minutes and the AI only cares about the mobs, not the real target (Boss)

After recording/playing rank for story. The content felt missing
It is easier than the other 2
It felt like there was less content
Story was shallow and couldnt get immersed. There was something here that could of been weaved but lacked substance
Characters .... I can't even recall
Guns aren't fun
Melee weapon choices exist
Enemies are weaker
16hrs here but other titles 50+
Got it on sale which I would recommend
Went with the long sword but it really depending on your play style. I just tried sticking to the previous game builds for consistancy.
Didn't experience any crashing
The mechanics/gameplay are smoother

God Eater 3 is easier version of MH games. Formulaic its not that complicated and demanding like MH games and in some cases not that deep as you wished. It still has those details and weapons that you could use it but you don’t need to grind your life out just to reach end goal. In the same vibe the game will not hold back the punches and will put you down pretty fast if you are not careful with your skills.
For everyone is different taste and prestige. Some of us like to grind and spend thousand of hours but some of us just want to beat a mission launch another one and be done with a day.
Not a bad game and nice introduction to more heavy stuff later on if you willing to try MH series.

Ask my friends and people who are around me often enough: I have continuously attempted to get people in on playing this game more than a handful of times and have never gotten anyone to bite.
It's fun. It's really fun and it jives with me more than Monster Hunter, probably the more popular and similar game, could ever do. I'm not sure what it is about it but it has always been something I've always wanted to come back and play again and again even after beating the main campaign hand over fist - something I've not done with the rest of the series (though I wish to rectify, at some point).
You'll see this on sale for single-digit dollars from time to time and it is very much worth your time if you're a fan of the genre at all and are willing to give it an open mind if you've never seen anything out of the series itself. It isn't actually necessary to beat the other two games in the series prior to playing this one, so you'll be happy to learn that it's not a requirement for the story (only that it may give some context).
The gameplay itself is very solid and a step up from the previous two titles that tend to lack for options at a glance. It feels like every weapon and defense and gun option is worth playing and looking into once. Everything is fun, it's just a matter of choosing your preference as you go and maybe even constantly changing it up as the story progresses and you find better and better equipment over time. Honestly, it's fair to do whatever you want and not feel like you're gimping yourself for your choices, something I had problems with on the other two titles and these type of games in general.
It's certainly more fun with friends, if you can find someone willing to take the time out to play with you, and they did have a lot of raids available back when I used to play this years ago that would get upwards of 8 people together to go against a major boss of some sort with random people around the globe. Good fun and had its fair share of competition - you're graded based on your contribution to the mission in question so there's always an incentive to do your best when you play them, much like the missions themselves in the base story.
All in all, a fun experience. I just wish more people played.

God Eater 3 is a standout title in the action-hunting genre for several reasons. Its combat mechanics are incredibly fluid and fast-paced, offering a more dynamic experience compared to previous games in the series and similar titles like Monster Hunter. The graphics and performance have been significantly improved, making the game visually appealing and smooth.
The expanded arsenal in God Eater 3 allows for greater customization, with multiple forms for God Arcs, giving players the flexibility to adapt their playstyle. The introduction of new moves, like the dive attack, adds excitement and depth to combat. Additionally, the game has streamlined many elements, making it more accessible and enjoyable without sacrificing complexity.
Customizable NPC allies enhance the strategic aspect of the game, allowing players to tailor their companions to better fit their needs. The RPG elements are also more robust, providing deeper character progression and equipment customization.
Overall, God Eater 3 builds on the strengths of its predecessors while introducing improvements that make it superior to similar games in the genre. Whether you're a veteran of the series or a new player, God Eater 3 offers an exhilarating and rewarding experience.

If Saints Row is the best competitor to GTA then GOD EATER 3 is the best competitor to Monster Hunters.
This is the good stuff.

A pretty fun, fast-paced MonHun lite title. Very flashy, way less tactical and timing-based than MonHun, but still good fun.
