The Uniqueness and Depth Of Skills and Custom Roles
Forget about levels; using Gnome Online Prowess Point and Feat progression system, you can raise your chosen skills at your own pace while playing the game your way. Skill selection is now entirely player choice. Using the “character build” window, players can select any 9 “school skills”, only one of which can be the “ultimate skill” from any school. All “common skills” are available to all players. Players will be able to activate a total of 16 skills, common and school combined, for any set build.
Combat: Individual Player Skill and Teamwork
Combat is Real-Time, fast paced, with manual aiming and friendly fire. Player skill is important, while teamwork, strategy and tactics make the difference. The stakes are high with the full loot rule in effect and the combination of first person shooter style battles, mounted combat, epic sea battles, and sieges with RPG style strategy, are the recipe for a truly epic, exciting and adrenaline-charged experience.
Create and Conquer Empires
Huge sieges and Clan Wars bring the chaos of massive battles to life. Territory control is exercised by taking over cities and hamlets, capturing nearby villages and defending them against your enemies. Form strong Alliances, experience the politics and diplomacy of war, defend your allies, betray them, be betrayed, and retaliate.
The Importance Of Crafting
From the simplest sword and board to the elusive Dragon Armor, all items in Gnome Online are player created. War and the full loot system, fuel a perpetual need for equipment of all kind, creating a booming economy, making master crafters one of the most sought-after professions for any clan or team.

Played for 15 hours so far. Game is very reminiscent of old school mmorpgs, perfect for veterans used to the old school grind play style. Perhaps because it's a paid MMO I've not met anyone who is toxic and the other players have been generally very helpful with answering questions to the game.
Shout out to ARG for crafting me a weapon when I thought I lost my starter weapon. (I was dumb, didn't notice I had accidentally switched my loadout.) The game can be confusing for beginners just hopping in, not having a wiki page and all, but i guess part of the charm is picking up the game and learning off the players who are already established.
I would say some of the mechanics needs some fine tuning and tons of bugs need fixing, but being a paid game the majority of the players seem very patient and supportive of the Dev. He responds frequently on the discord and seems very reliable so far.
Don't like combat? No problem, because all you skillers out there can actually level your character off just farming materials which was what i chose to do at the start while getting to know the game. Don't need to perfect and worry too much about your stats or classes at the start because you can always switch the weapon types/classes you want to play and reset your stats with some gold. You can switch between 2 loadouts in the middle of combat, and although i'm not too deep into the game yet, i can only imagine how skill based PVP would be.
Blueprints for items are generally dropped off mobs it seems, but skillers can choose to pick up BP's off the auction house and start industrializing. They say the early bird gets the worm, but coming this late into the game still feels more like an advantage especially when the economy is being floated by the veterans. They pay really well for materials they need and toss pretty decent gear for cheap on the auction houses.
Notable skills I've yet to try:
Pet taming- You can purchase pets off the auction house or tame your own pets ( you tame better pets by lvling the tamer skill )
Fishing
Cooking
Alchemy
The weapon classes are pretty diverse as well: They seem to do different damage types like Bludgeoning, Piercing and Slash but I'm not sure what's the difference or if they do different damages to different mob types, I'll have to see.
On top of that, additional weapon specific skills can be farmed or bought from the auction house. This is nice because it allows the dev's to introduce new skills and spells at a later date. So far it seems each loadout is allowed to use 3 spells, but i'm not sure if there is more than 3 spells for each weapon class currently.
Gameplay can be clunky at times, but it might be because I'm playing from Asia to an EU server. Still managing well on 200+ Ping so it shouldn't be much of an issue for Asian players as well. Hopefully we get region dedicated servers down the line, but so far I'm happy with the game and my purchase ^^

Truly amazing game, Spent hours and upon hours playing through all of the changes and it keeps improving, The game is being developed by a single dev who's fully involved in his community and player feedback and for a single man team does a great job of releasing timely updates and Quality of life additions based on feedback.
If you love a game where drops are exciting a never ending roulette of trying to min max and obtain rare and unique things,
A unique pet system where you level up a taming skill and capture companions to aid you in battle,
A game with a sandbox fill where you build and construct things with your guild while unveiling the mysterious in the word. Then this is the game for you! Gather your friends capture a territory find out secrets to fight world bosses! Do dungeons and much more! Even when you take a break and wish to work on gathering you will still gain exp smilar to new world online i highly recommend this game ^-^!

Game has great potential. As it stands now the game is entertaining and fun, the developer is active in-game and in the community. With time this game could stand out in terms of the genre. Although simplistic in art style, the game carries a very nostalgic feel to the visuals. The game play is fun and allows for some variety in game style.
Currently there are some minor issues in balancing, guidance, as well as content. The bright side of this is that, as I said above, the developer is actively taking suggestions and working on adding more.

Super neat game reminding of the old classics like RuneScape and Tibia. Lots of regular updates and content. Really impressive scope for an indie MMO.

Game has a very unique feeling in today's market. Great old-school type mmorpg, with simple, but enjoyable combat.

pleasantly surprised by how polished and stable this game is for a solo dev. Nice features and achieves alot more than some big studios with their releases. Original content and the graphical style appeals to the nostalgic amongst us! Have only played a little but looking forward to progressing in the game and forming a guild to see where it leads. Nice skill system too! Books, proficiency! Only criticism is the pace can be a little grindy, but i'm sure that will be adjusted and also means the game isnt over in an instant.
