Glider Sim is a professional paragliding and paramotor simulator built for real pilots in mind and is aiming to achieve photorealistic graphics! The sim can be played outside VR or inside VR. We recommend playing in Virtual Reality as it provides the highest level of immersion!
The simulator takes place in Sun Valley, ID, United States. The scenery is derived from real world satellite imagery and overlaid with high resolution textures, grass, trees and wildflowers! The scenery also includes custom placed roads, houses, buildings, power lines, soaring eagles, cruising airplanes and more! We are striving to create a beautiful living environment with many placed detailed scenery objects that you can discover as you fly and explore the map.
Lots of attention went into the flight physics of the gliders as well as the wind and thermal system. Set your launch point and flying conditions then takeoff into the skies! Use wind current such as ridge lift and thermals to stay airborne, or if you’re using the powered paramotor (Paramotor Trike) throttle up and cruise over the detailed scenery. You can toggle on and off the wind visualization particle systems as well as change other flight conditions such as wind speed and direction.
Experience state of the art flight physics where each cell of the glider is modeled and has physics applied! You can do maneuvers such as wingovers, spirals, stalls, and swoops. Watch out and don’t let your wing collapse!

Great and powerfull simulation tool for any level of paraglider pilots. Paraglider feels real and the dev are really active in the development progress. Still have a long road of wishlists to be implement, require some piloting attention to don't become bad used since some flight incidents are not fully simulated, but it feels real and it's a really good simulator for general purpose training.
I can recommend this in the actual state and it is the most promissing paraglider simulator in the market.

The new Earth Online plus mode is amazing. The quality of the environment rivals MSFS2020, and being able to paraglide from my backyard virtually is quite the experience. I stream VR to my Quest over Steam Link - it works great.

I don't often leave reviews but this simulator is incredible. It's obviously not going to be as refined as MSFS, but for our small sport, the fact that this sim exists is awesome!

This sim is definitely going to be the best one out there for paragliding.
Joey and the other people working on the project are very open to community feedback and keep gracing us with wonderful updates, with the game feeling more and more polished and more realistic every time. I fly paragliders, and I could easily go from one to the other and feel very similarly.
The game is not graphically impressive, but the simulation is very accurate, and the graphics are just "good enough" to have a great experience.
With the addition of multiplayer, and XC challenges, you have plenty to do, and plenty to stuff to work towards improving. I wonder how the game plays in VR, must be a blast, and playing with a sim rig must be insane (I play with a controller).
Definitely worth the entry price, because this game is shaping up to be very, very good technically.

After flying for hours in the Alps in the simulator, I think I have to start paragliding in real life too. Great simulator and the latest update that added speedflying challenges really gave the simulator a new level of depth, as now you can practice your lines to get that perfect score.
Would definitely recommend to anyone interested in paragliding!

I'm reasonably impressed. As it's in early access there are some things that aren't there yet - I would like better instruments on a flight deck, a better physics model for the wing (I can't seem to collapse it, but it does stall, kind of), different wings other than a basic 3 line EN A and better graphics of course. Apart from that it does give you a good feeling of paragliding and I reckon I'm going to play it some more during this miserable start to the year.

Great game. As a paraglider in real life this is quite well done. Especially the thermal markers. Very handy to learn from that for real life flying.
