The game is very nice in terms of aesthetics and design, and the content was quite sufficient for early access. It looks like it will improve and become a better game in the future.

Between the price point, how little space it takes, the quality of the music, and it's simple yet addictive play style, Gladiators and Glory is one of my favorite purchases of this year. Extremely bingeworthy.

In ancient Rome, a gladiator was a professional fighter who fought other gladiators in public displays. The fight of gladiators against each other is called gladiatorship. Gladiator fights were part of Roman life from 264 B.C. to the beginning of the 5th century AD Over the centuries, a number of different types of gladiators developed, some of which differed significantly in their equipment. The original main equipment consisted of a sword, greaves, a helmet, a shield and a metal belt to hold the loincloth. Most gladiators also wore arm guards. Rarely did the fighters wear (upper) body armor.
In Gladiators and Glory it is your task to found your own gladiator school and lead it to fame and glory in the arenas and in the coliseum of the empire. You have to level up your gladiators to get glory and achieve victories against other gladiators. Also you have to adapt new armour, swords and equipment of your gladiators as the opponents get harder and harder and of course fights too. The battles are carried out turn-based, which are located in the Roman era, as we know it from other games.

Ein Gladiator war im antiken Rom ein Berufskämpfer, der in öffentlichen Schaustellungen gegen andere Gladiatoren kämpfte. Der Kampf der Gladiatoren gegeneinander wird als Gladiatur bezeichnet. Gladiatorenkämpfe waren Bestandteil des römischen Lebens von 264 v. Chr. bis Anfang des 5. Jahrhunderts n. Chr. Im Laufe der Jahrhunderte entwickelten sich eine Reihe unterschiedlicher Gladiatorengattungen, die sich in ihrer Ausrüstung zum Teil deutlich unterschieden. Die ursprüngliche Hauptausrüstung bestand aus einem Schwert, Beinschienen, einem Helm, einem Schild und einem Metallgürtel, der den Lendenschurz halten sollte. In Gladiators and Glory ist es Deine Aufgabe, eine eigene Gladiatorenschule zu gründen und diese in den Arenen und im Kolosseum des Imperiums zu Ruhm und Ehre zu führen. Du musst deine Gladiatoren verbessern, um ruhmreich zu werden und Siege gegen andere Gladiatoren austragen. Auch musst du neue Rüstungen, Schwerter und Ausrüstung deiner Gladiatoren anpassen, da die Gegner immer schwerer werden und Kämpfe natürlich auch. Die Kämpfe werden rundenbasiert ausgetragen, welche in der römischen Ära angesiedelt sind, wie wir es aus anderen Spielen kennen.

The game is very fun, at first it was a bit difficult to earn money and I liked this difficulty. And as I continued to play, I didn't understand how the time passed. I'm someone who doesn't play this type of game much, but despite that, I had a good time. I believe that it will be even better in the full version, since early access, important updates have come to the game.

Such a fun and challenging game where you can build your Ludus and train your gladiators to glory. There are various skills to train for each gladiator and it is really satisfying to see your novice gladiator beating champions after continuous training :,)
