A comedy cosmic horror adventure made in Transylvania. Darkham, with its crooked gambrel roofs, dark alleys, and a past shrouded in secrecy, never really was a welcoming place, but nowadays? Kooky cults are popping up everywhere, and that most evil book, the Necronomicon, is spoken of in trembling whispers once more. Detective Don R. Ketype is on the case to retrieve the mysterious evil tome, but unsuspecting librarian Buzz Kerwan stumbles upon it and accidentally transforms his cat, Kitteh, into a walking, talking abomination. Being humanized? Quite a downgrade. Gibbous is a comedy cosmic horror game – a modern adventure that is classically inspired, features gorgeous HD art, detailed traditional animation, and a lengthy story that will see the three protagonists travel around the world and deal with abominations both cosmic and human-made, voodoo, and Things That Should Not Be. From Lovecraft Country to Transylvania, set off on a quest to get a very cynical cat to stop talking.

Bis auf das Ende ein nettes Game. Wahrscheinlich war ein zweiter Teil geplant, der aber niemals erschienen ist.

Ein schönes klassisches Point&Click Adventure mit gutem Humor irgendwo zwischen Monkey Island und Simon the Sorcerer und vielen kleinen Easter Eggs. Der Fokus liegt auf der Handlung und den Dialogen. Dabei wechselt man zwischen 3 Figuren mit unterschiedlichen Fähigkeiten. Die Rätsel sind nicht über die Maßen kniffelig, also nichts für Leute, die es gerne herausfordernd schwer haben. Dafür erwarten einen gute 6-9h unterhaltsamer Spielspaß. Ich kann es nur empfehlen :)

Ein super Point&Klick-Adventure und vor allem für Fans der Werke von H. P. Lovecraft ein absolutes Muss. Die Anspielungen haben mich immer wieder sehr zum Lachen gebracht. Von mir gibt es definitiv eine 10/10.

Point-and-click adventures are not normally games I play, but this one tickled my ADHD enough for me to enjoy it thouroughly! It has charm, it has a lot of humor, likeable characters - in short: I really liked it!
