A comedy cosmic horror adventure made in Transylvania. Darkham, with its crooked gambrel roofs, dark alleys, and a past shrouded in secrecy, never really was a welcoming place, but nowadays? Kooky cults are popping up everywhere, and that most evil book, the Necronomicon, is spoken of in trembling whispers once more. Detective Don R. Ketype is on the case to retrieve the mysterious evil tome, but unsuspecting librarian Buzz Kerwan stumbles upon it and accidentally transforms his cat, Kitteh, into a walking, talking abomination. Being humanized? Quite a downgrade. Gibbous is a comedy cosmic horror game – a modern adventure that is classically inspired, features gorgeous HD art, detailed traditional animation, and a lengthy story that will see the three protagonists travel around the world and deal with abominations both cosmic and human-made, voodoo, and Things That Should Not Be. From Lovecraft Country to Transylvania, set off on a quest to get a very cynical cat to stop talking.

Das beste Adventure, dass ich seit langer Zeit gespielt habe. Wunderschön gezeichnete Hintergründe, toller Humor mit viel Fan Service. Kann mit Monkey Island mithalten. Die Rätsel eher leicht bis mittel schwer, aber angenehm logisch. Total viel witziger Text, mehrfach anschaubare Objekte und geniale kreative Ideen. Klares Muss für jeden Adventure Fan.

Gutes Adventure Spiel. Die Rätsel fand ich im Vergleich zu vielen anderen Point and Click Adventures einfach. Das ist für mich nicht schlimm, aber ich schätze Spieler, die von den Rätseln herausgefordert werden wollen sind hier fehlt am Platz. Das Setting ist interessant und wie aus vielen Adventures, die in die Spuren Monkey Islands treten mit reichlich Humor, Witz und Kulturreferenzen gespickt. Mir hat der Animationsstil gefallen, gehört aber sicher nicht zu den Stärken des Spiels, aber wer spielt P&C games auch für die geile Grafik und Animation.^^

- the cliché detective's name is Don R. Ketype; if you like that kind of humour you'll have a lot of fun!
- not too difficult (but satisfying) puzzles but lots of story
- good soundtrack and lovely voice acting
- made with love; I like to play games that show you how much fun the makers had

- a lot of talk which is good if you like the humour and might be awful if not
- sometimes the solution for puzzles is to look at everything in the room as often as possible, which can be annoying with a small display and bad eyes; on the plus side, there's the possibility to get shown all items you're able to interact with

Ein tolles Adventure, ganz im Stil der "großen Alten" wie z.B. Monkey Island, Sam & Max, usw. Die Rätsel sind nicht allzuschwer und man kann das Spiel gut und flüssig durchspielen. Ein wenig mehr Schwierigkeit wäre für erfahrenere Adventure-Spieler nicht schlecht aber es macht trotzdem riesig viel Spaß
