Are you afraid of monsters?
Western fantasy world looks way too realistic to Maria. Seeing monsters causes her immense panic. Such a shame that she ended up in the world of the dead. Now the only way to return home is to get to the Gate to the world of the living, but she will have to go through an island of dungeons filled with the undead.
- Challenge your fears as an anime coward, that ended up in a western fantasy world. Maria loses mana when she is scared. In this unfamiliar environment, the monsters are too realistic.
- Get to the treasure or open a shortcut while you still have mana. When mana runs out, Maria will panic and run to safety, and the undead will respawn.
- Which move will save more mana and health in combat? The game is turn-based, so you have time to think. But the enemies are not stupid, they will pull up Maria and quicky surround her.
- Maria can cast spells. Her main tool is magic stones. When inserted into a magical wand or sword, the stones let you use new spells.
- In the world of the dead, there is a city with peaceful spirits who will trade with you and help you improve your weapons.

Very interesting and well executed concept, I've had a lot of fun playing this and will probably try to 100% it as well.
May look like a standard dungeon crawler at a first glance, but has enough unique mechanics to stand out.
Think Wizardry meets Dark Souls.
Pros:
+ Unique and well thought out gameplay
+ Big maze-like locations with lots of exploration
+ Interesting puzzles
+ Challenging fights
+ Graphics are pretty good for an indie game
+ Plays smoothly on Steam Deck even on max settings
+ Collectibles and high scores allow for some decent replay-ability if you're into that
Cons:
- This game is about strategising and thinking carefully, you'll have a hard time if you like rushing through everything (like me lol)
- The plot is there and is entertaining at times, but don't expect it to be the main attraction of the game

+ Dialogues crack a smile on my face.
- You may find yourself running for a few minutes to a place you died last time and... die the very same way... a few more times. Well, if you are as dumb as I am :)

The game is trickier than it seems at first glance. I spent many hours getting bitten by spiders, but discovering a shortcut made a huge difference! It feels like the indie developer put a lot of time and effort into crafting this game, and I recommend buying it during a sale.
Advantages:
+ Simple battles that require finding the right tactics (for example, it's better to face enemies head-on, as shields don't block side damage).
+ Easy-to-understand economics (upgrade your sword, shield, or wand using ingots and magic stones).
+ Large levels can be finished faster if you skip some treasures and focus on the main route.
+ Nice jokes :)
+ Runs smoothly on a 2013 laptop.
Disadvantages:
- Rapid camera movements;
- Quick character moves (although this could be a plus since you can skip completed areas).
- Sometimes the HP bar interface is overlapped.

TLDR: Buy it on sale. If in doubt, play the demo
Pros:
+ Mana drain mechanics looks solid.
+ Maps are very good upon closer examination.
+ The dialogues seem lively and somewhat funny.
+ On the second hour of gameplay, world exploration becomes exciting, thinking about how to beat monsters and which shortcut to explore is interesting.
+ Riddles are ok, the solutions are logical.
+ Leveling and items upgrades exist, and even in more than one obvious way.
+ The JRPG part tries to develop the gameplay and introduces something new.
+ Bugs are few in count and do not affect core gameplay.
Cons:
- Boss fights are lame.
- Sound design just exists.
- In JRPG mechanics, the cursor sometimes disappears and it's hard to figure out whose turn it is and who it will hit.
- If the Russian language is declared, then it would still be necessary to make it in the game, and not leave even menu in English words.
- Menu order looks strange, for example to change sound levels you must quit to main menu.

I like this game, I give it a thumbs up, but if I could put a giant asterisk next to it, I would.
I enjoyed the gameplay. It's all over the place, but it comes together. It's a dungeon crawler... almost. You have finite mana, enemies are in fixed locations, and there's no combat RNG. Going back to town refreshes your mana but it also respawns all the enemies. So, in a way, it's a puzzle game... almost. How do you get through a fight while conserving as much mana as possible? You have a shield that reduces damage from the front-only, so you also have to avoid getting surrounded. And boss fights are their own puzzle. You'll also gather equipment that upgrades your shield, your weapon, and gives you spells, which gives you new solutions to the combat puzzles. So it's also an RPG... almost. Equipment management isn't very deep, But what's there is still good. And because of the gameplay it has a "just one more time" quality to it.
The first map is very good, quite non-linear, lots to explore. The later maps are not as good unfortunately, they get more linear and there's just less to explore. As a silly metric, there's like half as many keys for level 2 as there are for level 1, and basically no keys for level 3.
Took me 8 hours to complete the game.
Now, the reason I would put a giant asterisk next to this game is because it is extremely janky. There's a lot:
- Basic settings like audio volume and key rebinding are not present.
- The UI is pretty clunky to navigate and look at.
- There are a lot of map quirks. A lot of fake doors. Sometimes the map will stop you from walking off to instant death, sometimes it won't, it's very arbitrary. There's a random door on map 1 you can walk through one side, but you can't go back, even though it's open and there's nothing blocking you. None of these quirks are game-breaking, but you will be noticing them a lot.
- The game only allows auto-saving, and it only autosaves when you enter town, so you will lose a LOT of progress to oops sudden deaths.
- I do like the silly tone of the writing but I wouldn't say it's good writing. It needs some editing.
- The aesthetic is very generic and feels mishmashed together.
Basically, you should pick up this game if you really like the gameplay (and are willing to overlook everything else for the sake of gameplay). The demo is a good representative of the game, give it a try if you're not sure!

Fun game, not exactly a short game so there is time involved and secrets to find
