I dont get the hate for this game. For a dollar you get a fast paced arena FPS, decent weapon variety and a very special graphics style that I really enjoyed.
My biggest complaint is that it is possible to walk on this game. Sprinting should be enabled by default, since there is absolutely ZERO point in walking on this game. I load up the game, have no clue what to do, and assume that you all do is slash demons with a sword. I was about to make a negative review calling it utter garbage. Why does the option to walk even exist?? It is strange how some of these games manage to leave an ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE first impression, but then are actually quite fun when you get the hang of it. Did the developers not think that it was going to be a problem that there are no tutorials, and then you start off walking this slowly with no clue what to do??
Another problem is the "Aim Assist" option in this game. This straight up makes the game extremely buggy and your screen shaking for no reason. Again, like with the sprint, it is just pointless and just makes the game bad if it is not disabled. I am honestly pretty baffled how the devs managed to mess this up so bad. Two completely pointless features to an otherwise decent game.
Final Note: The trailer for this game is damn awful in my opinion.

Great game! Very Fun!
If you want a fun, inexpensive, pretty looking,
Serious Sam crossed with Doom, wave based
shooter this is it.
I recommend toggle the setting to let you
keep run always enabled as walk speed is
a death sentence.
9/10 for price and fun value.
