《Game Over - A Musical RPG??》是由Jake Houston制作发行的一款以“音乐”为核心元素的喜剧向RPG。
本作故事伊始就给玩家端上来一出“勇者打败恶龙救公主”的戏码,在用音乐力量换得当前和平局面后,摆在身为勇者大人的你面前的是一系列荒诞的遭遇,小镇各处开始出现诡异扭曲和异常现象:文本扭曲错乱、材质混合闪烁、音乐断续失真,角色时隐时现,一度营造出诡异氛围,而小镇上的NPC们对这一现象似乎并没有太大反应......
本作最令我惊艳的是其采用了极具创新性的“叙事性音乐”设计,每个角色由特定乐器“配音”,且音色完美契合性格,而在探索时,动植物等元素也会发出音调,层层叠加构成独特的区域氛围,合成波、另类摇滚、迪斯科、古典乐、电子乐等音乐风格贯穿全程。
本作的的对战环节采用了如同经典的《吉他英雄》的下落式节奏打击玩法(6B),且每场战斗均为独一无二的设计,拥有专属配乐与喜剧剧情。难度总共有三档:奈杰尔(自动)、稍难、困难,如果是音游苦手笔者建议不要选择困难,因为其内还包含一些CHAOS(干扰视觉)要素(如屏幕局部变暗、需用额外按键消除弹窗、中途新增指令),整体还是比较考验玩家的注意力与反应力的,玩家唯一的成长系统是音符符号样式的“生命条”,其可通过击败敌人、完成支线或探索秘密区域延长,“生命条”更长容错率也会更高。
总的来说,本作的定位有点像是一款包含音游玩法和叙事的元游戏,整体风格类似《传说之下》、《地球冒险》,综合品质有望成为一部独立爆款,值得一玩。
