I'm going to start off saying I enjoy this game a lot. I find the fanservice and the dating sim elements + a on rails shooter type game to be unique and appealing to me. This game is a classic.
You play as a teenager who gets in a feud in which a angel accidentally shoots every girl in your school with love arrows. This causes your whole school to fall in love with you, except to four girls of course. These girls are immune to love arrows and you need to beat a few mini-games and balance your stats to match their tastes to try to achieve a good ending. To be honest the routes seem very cliche but it is still fun to work towards a happy ending. Overall it is a unique spin on the on-rail shooter games and quite a silly experience. If this sounds appealing to you, I recommend you buy it on a sale.

Besides the true endings being impossible to get without a guide and Doki Doki Carnival Mode being tedious to go through, it's a pretty good game.

I have mixed feelings about this one, but it's still can be entertaining. Game is more similar to the first game than previous one. Story mode got even shorter than in other games, no upgrades or quests, but developers tried to compensate that with some modes. Gameplay is the same as before: you shoot, "run" around, look at schoolgirls, level up stats to pick right answers in VN segments and regret your life decisions(optional). Game is pretty short, so my advice is to buy it on sale if you are not sure.

While this game has fewer mechanics than games that followed it, I feel like the best part of Gal*Gun 1 is pacing. I never felt tired of it during my playthrough, unlike, for example, Gal*Gun 2 that tired me very quickly.
