G-MODEアーカイブス+ 怒首領蜂大往生DX
“You will die.”
Confirm it with your own eyes. See with your own eyes the most deadly barrage ever spread across your palms.
“DoDonPachi DaiOuJou” is a vertical scrolling shooting game released in 2002.
Its challenging game system, detailed world view, and challenging difficulty level won the support of many users.
“DoDonPachi DaiOuJou DX”, which is being reprinted as an archive, is a feature phone port of the same game.
Not only can you take on the threatening barrage of bullets that the name “DaiOuJou” implies, but you can also compete with users all over the world in online ranking.
You can also change the difficulty level, select your ship type, and choose an elemental doll to suit your skill and preference.
Whether you are a beginner or an expert in shooting games, this is the game for you. Whether you’re a beginner or an expert, challenge the line of death and show off your deadly skills.
■ About G-MODE Archives
The G-MODE Archives is a reissue project that faithfully recreates old feature phone games as they were back then.
In order to enjoy the app as it was back then, the web-connected menu, buttons, and keys have been transplanted, but some of them may not work.
For more information on the Steam version, press START button and see the “How to play” in the OPTION menu.

A wacky alternate universe version of DDP DOJ that is really cool to see preserved here and readily available. For the platform limitations, it's extremely well-made and looks great, though as mentioned the singular explosion sound effect is wimpy and pretty bad.
Controls are quite good other than having to let go of auto-fire before hitting the laser button, if you want to switch shot types. I assumed this was intentional, even though it didn't match other Cave games I've played, but there is a fix available in the reviews which should stop this from happening, I just figured I had to be super thoughtful when I wanted to switch between the types.
Cleared on normal with a 1cc- would love to meet the Japanese guy who actually cleared Special difficulty on a flip phone in 2005, you know somebody tried.
If G-Mode reads English reviews of these for whatever reason, I would absolutely love to see the mobile phone version of Final Fantasy Adventure AKA Seiken Densetsu, it always looked fascinating and a GameBoy port has a much better chance of holding up on a phone I'd imagine.
(PS - unlock Special difficulty and boss rush mode by going to the title screen with "Press Select" shown, and entering left - left - down - down - down - left - left -left -left)

I got to play DoDonPachi DaiOuJou in english with a fan patch and I bought it legally supporting the creators for a fair and affordable price.
Best version of DoDonPachi DaiOuJou.

Honestly I dunno, but I'd buy any Cave cellphone game if they put it on here...
