Compared to the previous work, the volume of scenarios has more than doubled, and the variety of enemies, items, and magic has greatly increased.
In addition to the traditional “Nakama System,” in which players negotiate with demonic beasts that stand in their way as enemies and lend them their strength if they succeed, the series’ traditional “Nakama System” allows players to equip demonic beasts with accessories to give them more strategic abilities in addition to the traditional strengthening and synthesis.

まずはじめに、最初からラスボス撃破まで、Steam Deckでプレイできたことをご報告します。
第2作である今作では、前作での不満点がしっかり解消されています。
・ボス戦ではエンロールを成功させなくても、ボスを倒すことで自動的に魔物図鑑に登録されるようになった。
・異様に高かったエンカウント率が、違和感がない程度になった。
・フレームレートが高くなり、動きが少しなめらかになった。
システム面でいいますと、ターン制RPGとしては非常に良くできていると思います。
ファミコン版『女神転生』やスーファミ版『真・女神転生』が好きな方は、とまどうことなくプレイできると思います。その点でおすすめします。
ただ、演出面というか、キャラクター設定が自分には合いませんでした。
主人公には少年と少女の仲間キャラクターがいるのですが、少女はとても丈の短いスカートを履いている設定となっています。その点に関して、仲間の少年がずっと下世話な言動を続けるのです。好みの問題なのでしょうが、私は非常に失望しました。オリジナルは2008年に配信されたそうですが、当時の私でもとても受け入れられるものではありません。
上記の少年キャラクターの描写があまりにも受け入れ難かったので、すでに購入済みではありますが、3作目をプレイすることはなさそうです。
この少年の描写以外はとてもよかっただけに、悩ましいですね。

新約ラストバイブル三部作の２作目。前作での不便な点（ボスにもエンロールしないと登録されない）とかを解消したが基本的なシステムは変わらないので古いJRPGが受け付けない向きにはお薦めできない。エンカウント率は相変わらず高いし、ラスボスなんか本気で○しにくるし、アイテム欄の使い勝手の悪さ（整頓のみで並べ替えできない、ボタン連打必要）も酷いもんだが、シナリオとキャラが何しろ熱い。中盤で明らかになる驚愕の事実を超えた展開が後半も続き、そのくせ、仲間二人のやりとりは吉本のようなギャグで、一見の価値あり。
やたら美麗な背景とか、二枚目ばかりのキャラとか、そういうんじゃないんだよ、ゲームに求めてんのはこういうのなんだよなぁというのを再認識させてくれたシリーズ。いよいよ三作目が楽しみ。
