This was a very enjoyable game and I feel sad to walk away from it having finished it. The music was chill and I loved the driving mechanic, it was very immersive with the ability to turn the radio on, check side mirrors, and fill up the bus with gas as I drove through the islands. The story was fun and I thought that grandma's voice actor did a fantastic job. Grandma was also written as a complex character with flaws of her own, which I thought was a great choice to show realism. I also enjoyed the cooking process, despite all the various bugs I encountered. There were bugs that required me to restart the game and at times I even lost items to the nether. But they didn't stop me from enjoying and finishing the game.

I love this game. I played it on my steam deck and it worked great, so definitely verified imo.
It's an adorable game where you drive around in your customizable bus and meet fun and cute little characters that are simple but still very charming.
Exploring and finding new fruits and vegetables to unlock new ways to prepare them is so much fun.
The game is incredibly calming and there is no time limit for anything, you can do everything at your leisure.
In my 19hrs of playing I only encountered one small bug. So I was either lucky or the Devs fixed most of the bugs.
I highly recommend this game.

Describing Fruitbus with one word would just be 'satisfying'.
It's a wholesome, cozy and relaxing food making- simulator where you drive across different types of islands (three I think so), complete customer tasks and meanwhile gather fruits and vegetables for new cooking recipes.
You can also upgrade and customize your fruitbus on the in- and outside. Whether it's just an optical upgrade (like different colors or item appearances), or useable upgrades like new bus engines etc.
For me Fruitbus is the perfect cozy game for a nightly gaming session.
I just love driving across the islands while drinking a cup of tea and listen to some relaxing Spotify lofi tracks, or the ingame bus radio. <3
I'm 20 hrs in now, and I literally just finished 1 1/2 island, so if you're not in a rush and take your time, you'll propably spend some lovely 40 hrs.
To me, Fruitbus is totally worth 25 bucks. Especially in discount. :)
(Edit: Storyline inclusive all achievements took me exactly 40 hrs.^-^)

I love this game so far! Has a similar vibe to Slime Rancher, in my opinion.
It's cozy and low-pressure compared to other cooking sims, which makes it very comfy to play. Everything feels tactile: picking up, moving, and throwing items, pressing buttons in the truck, picking fruit out of trees and bushes, moving appliances and decorations around your kitchen... It's all very satisfying.
The game gives you a lot of freedom in setting up your kitchen and progressing through the game. There are no time limits or deadlines (so far)!
The game's aesthetic works well, and though the animatronic-esque NPC animations are jarring at first, I grew to like them.
There are a few minor bugs/performance issues, but nothing that has kept me from playing the game. There are also a few things in the game I wish were better explained: does food rot away? How long does that take? Do crates prevent it? Does honking the horn negatively affect NPCs? This can easily be solved in future updates.
Though I'm only a couple hours in, I can tell the game already has plenty of content to justify its $25 pricetag.
I'm really excited to see the rest of what this game has to offer, and I hope the devs continue to add more in the future!

I just finished this game after buying it as soon as it released. I was so excited for it after playing the demo and it did not disappoint. The story is incredibly well written and bittersweet towards the end, unlocking the different memories and falling in love with Grandma just made me weep like a baby when it came to wrapping things up. I bought it because I enjoyed the food truck aspect, I kept playing it because I fell in love with the story. All in all, a masterpiece in my books.

I voted yes, but as it currently stands with all the bugs and things in it, it’s kind of a no until the bugs get fixed.
It’s a good idea of a game, I’ll definitely keep trying to play it, but there are still quite a few bugs that end up making it frustrating to play.
The frame rate drops dramatically when there are too many components in an environment, and doesn’t improve unless you leave the game and/or lower the specs. The shadows pop in and out making the experience very jarring at times.
The feature to customize your truck is unusable, the wrench does nothing as you try to select where to add your customization, which is very disappointing since I really wanted to utilize that feature as it was advertised in the trailers. I also clipped a lot through the environments, which I don’t care about as much but it would be nice to see that finessed more to avoid clipping through walls.
Some quests are virtually impossible (I’m looking at you crafter, with your lost coin and literally NO CLUES as to where it could possibly be >:[ ), and sometimes quests will just behave like you didn’t complete them and you can’t continue to the second portion of a quest (the toucan with the trash on the sign quest as an example; I cleaned it and the character later wanted a smoothie, but wouldn’t approach the van? Later I found the trash randomly respawned which I found was why the character was not willing to come to the bus, which was very frustrating to figure out for a quest I thought I already completed)
I wish there was more finesse in how you can place objects inside the truck, it’s finicky and at times was a little aggravating to work with. But that to me wasn’t as much of an issue as the other bugs I was experiencing.
It’s a really cute game with so much potential but I can see how these bugs as they currently exist would deter potential buyers. I hope the bugs get fixed soon, I’d really like to play it as it was intended to be played as.

I'm getting ready to finish the game soon, and I must say I'm excited and sad. This game was a hidden gem I wish I h had found sooner. It is so FUN! Very good cozy game! You get to customize your bus inside and out throughout the game. You gain more ingredients and dishes you can make, plus equipment as you progress. You go to three different islands and fill food request for big story progression missions, as well as smaller missions that might grant an item or some sort of reward. By the end of the game you can make several types of dishes with several different kitchen appliances and utensils. Don't want to give too much detail and spoil anything ;-P The overall story is cute! The game is so ADDICTING! It is steam deck compatible, and I have enjoyed playing it on both my Steam Deck and PC or Laptop. There is so much to do in this game on all three islands, and you are even able to travel back to other islands to finish quest or get supplies that island may have that the next doesn't. You do have to complete the main mission for each island before the next unlocks, but being able to go back is nice. I'm about to finish the game as I said, but because I can go back and I'm a bit of a completionist, I have went back to the first island and am currently finishing anything up that I need to do or collect from each island before I finish the game. This will be a bittersweet ending, as I have been loving this game and have been addicted, but I'm also ready to finish it and see the story conclude. Again, THIS GAME WAS A HIDDEN GEM AND IS HIGHLY UNDERRATED FOR SOMETHING THAT DESERVES MORE HYPE! DON'T THINK, JUST BUY IT! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!
