  • Freedom Planet is great. While it's clearly influenced by Sonic, it also feels like a Sparkster successor with elements of other games like Pulseman and Ristar. It still manages to stand out on its own despite this, with three separate characters that play relatively uniquely. The story is cheesy and sometimes veers into "ow the edge" territory, which might turn some people off the game.

  • I don't know why, but Freedom Planet was and still my favorite 2D game of all time. The game has some magical and childhood feelings, from character designs, to music of the game. I highly recommend to try at least the demo version of the game
