What an adorable game!
Wholesome, relaxing, witty, with a lot of heart and deep insights.
That's Finding Paradise.
I chuckled in the first 18 minutes alone more than I did in the entirety of other games that are tagged funny!
The story in FInding Paradise is exceptionally well written and the dialogues are engaging, feel natural and have zero fluff or padding. That's just good writing right there.
I enjoyed my time getting to know the characters and grew to like them. It helped seeing how their differences make for amusing moments, like how the serious Eva assumes the mantle of the more responsible adult to the playful and anime-obsessed Neil!
Some characters also complement each other as in how a certain loopy and free-spirited character pushes the overthinking Colin forward to do what he wants to but is too timid to do on his own.

The music score is simple and perfectly sets the mood for the heartfelt story. It also masterfully changes according to the scene.
I was going to list the game's lack of Steam's screenshot functionality as a negative, but on second thought, it isn't. Sure it sucked not being able to share special moments in the game but all in all, it's actually better that way to avoid giving away spoilers.
The game has an extended scene with the full works, including dialogue, animation and accompanying music score, in homage to the opening scene of one of my favorite movies of all time. :] I won't say which so you can have fun with it when you do!
There were moments when I felt like I'm in Tron Legacy while playing this game. One of the best things is that some parts are skippable without affecting the game's outcome.
It took me 9 hours to play the game from start to finish while exploring everything and going through all the dialogues. There's only one achievement in the game that pops up once completed, so you can just enjoy the ride.
If you really want to know what the game is about and don't mind a semi spoiler, here: The doctors' core job in Finding Paradise is an improvement on what you find in that Jim Carrey movie Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind meets the Animus from Assassin's Creed meets Make a Wish foundation.
If you watched the movie and played even one AC game, then you can imagine the possibilities of where the story can take you! If you haven't, even better, you'll experience this yourself first hand :)
Play Finding Paradise when you're tired of long RPGs and shooters and just need to relax with minimal gameplay and a simple, engaging story that may or may not leave you with something to ponder about life in general. Highly recommended even for newbies to the Point and Click genre, like myself lol

"Finding Paradise", is a great little story that also makes you think about something. But you should play “A Bird Story” first. Because the stories belong together. The musical accompaniment was very good.
