Niezapomniane momenty i dużo nostalgii gwarantowane. Final z którego twórcy Ekspedycji 33 najbardziej się inspirowali, a to już coś znaczy. Polecam.

Epic Journey, Timeless Tale, Enhanced
The Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster transports players to the mystical world of Spira, where summoners and guardians battle ancient evils. This package bundles Final Fantasy X, a story-driven JRPG following Tidus and Yuna’s quest to defeat Sin, with its sequel, X-2, where Yuna becomes a sphere hunter. The remaster enhances both games with updated visuals, re-recorded music, and additional content from their International versions. Compared to predecessors like Final Fantasy VII, it shifts toward a more linear narrative but retains the series’ emotional depth.
The Sphere Grid’s Trials
Final Fantasy X employs the Conditional Turn-Based (CTB) Battle System, where combat unfolds based on character speed and chosen abilities, with the option to swap party members mid-fight for tactical flexibility. The Sphere Grid, a vast progression system, allows customization of character stats and skills by navigating a board and unlocking nodes with items earned through battles or exploration. Equipment customization requires attaching abilities to weapons and armor, using specific items gathered throughout Spira. Blitzball, a minigame, involves managing a team in an underwater sport, demanding strategic formation and stat management. Final Fantasy X-2 shifts to a mission-based structure, with a trio of characters using the Dressphere system to switch job classes like Thief or White Mage during fast-paced Active Time Battles. Exploration spans Spira’s open areas, with tasks and story chapters to unlock, while the Creature Creator lets adventurers capture and train monsters for combat, similar to mechanics in Shin Megami Tensei V.
Spira’s Eternal Strengths
The remaster’s visuals revitalize Spira, with high-resolution textures and redone character models making locations like Kilika’s ports breathtaking, preserving the game’s cinematic scope. The re-recorded soundtrack amplifies iconic melodies, immersing adventurers in Spira’s emotional peaks, from tranquil shrines to climactic battles. Final Fantasy X’s narrative crafts a poignant tale of sacrifice and redemption, with nuanced characters whose stories unfold over a 40-hour quest, rivaling the depth of Tales of Arise. The Sphere Grid enables intricate customization, letting adventurers mold characters into unique roles, such as turning a support into a powerhouse, encouraging strategic depth. International version additions, like the Expert Sphere Grid and super-bosses, boost replayability, offering fresh challenges for dedicated explorers. X-2’s dynamic Active Time Battle system and Dressphere mechanics allow seamless role-switching, adapting to diverse combat scenarios with flair. The Creature Creator introduces a creative twist, enabling the training of fiends for unique battle strategies, adding depth beyond standard encounters.
Spira’s Lingering Flaws
Unskippable cutscenes in both games, especially before tough battles, disrupt gameplay flow, forcing repeated viewings of lengthy sequences, which feels archaic compared to modern JRPGs like Persona 5 Royal. Final Fantasy X-2’s shift to a playful, pop-star-inspired tone and mission-based structure clashes with X’s somber storytelling, creating a fragmented experience that lacks the original’s narrative unity. Graphical inconsistencies, such as low-resolution NPC models or unpolished background textures, occasionally shatter immersion, leaving some areas feeling like untouched relics of the PS2 era despite the remaster’s enhancements.
A Timeless Pilgrimage
Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster delivers a visually upgraded odyssey through Spira, with X’s profound story and intricate mechanics standing out. X-2’s experimental gameplay and lighter tone add variety, though they may not resonate with everyone. The remaster’s extra content and cross-platform features enhance its appeal, welcoming both newcomers and returning adventurers. Minor technical flaws and tonal inconsistencies persist, but the package remains a JRPG cornerstone
Grade
8.6/10 - This score reflects the remaster’s vibrant visuals, robust gameplay systems, and enduring narrative, balanced against unskippable cutscenes and X-2’s divisive tone, yet it remains a compelling journey through Spira’s heart.

Waaaaay too much filler combat, sometimes it's strait up riddiculous! You would walk a path in the woods and fight the same 2-3 monsters every minute,, But aside from that, it's a very fun game!

I completed whole collection so here it is my opinion about this games:
- Final Fantasy X - This is my first ever Final Fantasy game i've ever played, i beat it just recently. One of best in the series i played so far. Great, emotional story with excelent characters with believable relations and unique, interesting world. I like gameplay, despite it's absolutly linear nature, but new battle system is really good and dynamic, summons are best so far in the series and character development is more engaging than simple gaining levels and new equipment. Also FFX has challenging difficulty level and much side content to do. I also love this early 2000s tropical aesthetic with deep blue sea, lush green and bright sky, this fantasy world with sci-fi element and culture inspired by Pacific area. Graphics is old, but it has distinct style and it can be one of best Nomura's deisgns of characters. Auron is cool. CGI cutscenes still gives impression. Music is also great. I can say that this is masterpiece.
- Eternal Calm - short movie on engine of FFX telling what Yuna do after previous game. Nothing special.
- Final Fantasy X-2 - I don't like this game. It isn't hatred like me and FFVIII, but you have here are many things that aren't into my gusto. From start X-2 have completly different, much more comedic, lighter tone than FFX with aesthetic of saturday morning cartoon, j-pop music video and Charlie's Angels. I don't like what they did here with world of Spira and old characters, like Yuna. Gameplay wise is return of ATB system which was so slow for me after dynamic battles of FFX and it's also return of job system, which i alwas don't like. After while battles was servicable, but yeah, i wasn't too much engaged with gameplay. I also don't like that campaign is divided on chapters with bunch of mission in every. You have to go to every place on Spira many times and do tedious tasks with sometime good plot, like Wakka becoming father, but mostly don't. It's also full of not good minigames. Whole game is giant reuse of assets from FFX and new stuff is scarce. There are some good looking new places, but most dungeons are plain straight corridors and i don't like many new designs like airship or some outfits. New music style is also not for me. It's not bad game, but it's too far from FFX for me.
- X-2: Last Mission - sequel of sequel which to my suprise isn't short minigame. It's full fledge mystery dungon style roguelike and i'm usualy staying away from rogulikes. I used cheats to quickly beat it and i don't think it's good mystery dungeon. There are many frustrating things here, like trap doors to previous floors or locks on elevators whick you unlock by doing random stuff like throwing your things away. Floors are looking like every mystery dungeon type game, but outdoor design of tower is suprisingly awesome. Story wise is much more smaller scale, with girls from X-2 doing one last adventure together. There is some talking between floors, nothing specialy engaging.
Well, i love FFX, absolutly worth to play, but i don't have warm feelings for other games in collection. Remastered versions are serviceable, but it isn't nothing gamebreaking, like you still can't skip on-engine cutscenes and you have to turn off game to be able to load save file. Also i had some kick outs to windows.
-Edit-
Oh, in collection there is also audiodrama -Will-. And it's much better sequel than whole X-2. Wow. That was suprisingly good play to listening, despite i probably wouldn't like cynical narrator girl as a person. Pity, that it's short.
