About the Game
The king has granted you the right to oversee a medieval city and the surrounding lands. This is not only a great privilege, but also a demanding task. You begin with only a handful of citizens, a modest settlement, and your task will be to gather the resources necessary to grow your city and design its layout wisely, and ensure that your subjects are satisfied with your rule.
Gold is a resource that makes progress possible. Take advantage of your vassals and create a profitable tax system, because not only do you need it to develop your city, but you also must satisfy the needs of the royal treasury, after all, your king is your liege. Use various buildings to utilise collected materials, craft tools, weapons and armour and sell them to the merchants.
Defending the land against the enemies of the realm is also one of your tasks. Prepare the city for the attacks of foreign invaders, collect goods to survive the siege and garrison the fortifications. If the defences fail, your settlement can be sacked, citizens killed and buildings burned down.
Medieval times are not easy for the rulers, you will face all sorts of calamities like fires, plague outbreaks or rebellions of discontented citizens.

In brief, its a very very watered down Manor Lords.
It plays very similar to Pharoah and Civ City Rome where all buildings have to within a certain distance with one another though, Where as with Manor lords you do not have that problem as your peeps are not reluctant to walk.
What i do like though over civ city rome is the ability to adjust the layout of the range where the buildings need to interact with each other, The Workshop one though is rather annoying as you have to move the range where you want the workers to build your houses, storage, industry buildings.
The Graphics, Music and sounds are simple enough, nothing fantastic.
To me personally, its an okay game, i prefer manor lords due to realism and i find watching the peasents at work more theraputic and relaxing,
I do recommend the game, the price is justified for what you get.
I just started the campaign and i am in the middle of tutorial.

This is a wonderful game if you play through the tutorial and watch the walkthrough by Nivarias on Youtube. The supply chain mechanics take some getting used to because it's different than other games in the genre. It's closer in feel to Patron Than Manor Lords but strikes a balance of being a serious game without burying you in graphs and pie charts. Highly recommend!

Fantastic game with a ton of city building, resource management and eventually some combat action as well. Still learning all the intricacies of the games, which there are a lot. Need to watch the developer videos to pick up some clues about certain aspects of the game, but consistently enjoying the campaign mode on this game. Very good tutorial system to get you started and has step-by-step guides along the way. Can't wait to play more and continue to see where my first village ends up.

If you're a fan of Farm Manager, I believe you'll enjoy this game as well. It's by the same developer, so it has a similar UI feel. Its easy to follow if you're a fan of base building and production games as well.

Early thoughts are good, though a few mechanics are taking some getting used to -
