Feed All Monsters

the Game
Monsters have it tough. All day long they have to wait at one specific spot until the player comes along. And not all of them remember to bring a lunch box.
Here you come to the rescue! As the owner of a Monster Food Delivery Service, you guide your three employees on their quest to visit all the floating islands and give tasty food to all the monsters.
Feed All Monsters is a Line Puzzle with a little twist: Instead of completing a grid, you have to find the optimal path to deliver food to every monster. You do this by dragging a line next to the monster in question. There is no pressure and you can take as much time as you need to find the optimal path.

I think you absolutely should pick this up if you love casual puzzle games with cute characters. I've been looking forward to this since DU&I posted about it and have enjoyed it more than I thought I would.
Feed All Monsters is a super cute line game, you need to find the the optimal spawn to create a path for the workers to feed all monsters different amounts of food.
You will progress through 200 levels contained in six biomes, Grasslands / Meadow, Dark Forest, Ruins, Oasis, Autumn Fields, & Snowy Mountains. Each biome has 30 levels, and a boss level at the end. Might I add, the bosses are absolutely adorable just like all the DU&I artwork.
Each worker has different number of spaces and amounts of food they can deliver and as the game progresses there are hazards on the board that will subtract a move or meal. All of these things are pointed out as you advance with an onscreen tooltip so you won't miss any mechanics. And you will also unlock items that help you along.
Without a doubt the thing I love the most... unlimited mistakes allowed.
This feature makes it so relaxing and enjoyable to me. You can easily undo the whole worker's placement with a right click, or backtrack your steps one box at a time just click and drag.
If needed, there is also a hint feature that allows you to choose a worker and reveal the spawner they should be at. Technically you can use 3 per level but that seems wasteful, but you earn one hint per level completion.
So what are you waiting for go get it :)
Especially before the price increase when the sale ends.
P.S. I wanted to make a guide to include like some of my past reviews but just not happening today and wanted to get a review up for puzzle friends who might be on the fence or missed the demo. But I have been taking shots through progression and will publish them when done. Update: No need for me to work on a guide, on the hub overview someone has a WIP (Work In Progress) started already. .

Received a key as part of Jingle Jam 2023, thankyou for working with the Yogscast and their selected charities.
Great game, fun puzzles, great art style.

Been waiting for this terrific game to come out for a while; I had played the demo and earlier builds prior to release which gave me a delicious taste of what to expect in the full version. And I was not disappointed. Cool graphics, good music, and brutal puzzles from the lovely folks at DU&I. Go and pick it up!

Feed All Monsters is a puzzle game where you... feed monsters. You can play as three different characters that have their own individual strengths and weaknesses in order to navigate the puzzles.
There isn't really a story to this game, but the gameplay is pretty solid. You essentially are just drawing lines from where you place down your character so you can feed a certain number of food items to each monster. This is essentially the entirety of the gameplay, but due to this being a puzzle game, the true gameplay comes from what the game does around the core game mechanic rather than the mechanic itself being highly developed. This shows in how the game alters the map layouts, adds hazards that reduce the number of spaces you can move, and more.
However, one major fault of this game (and honestly, most puzzle games) is that it gets very repetitive, especially with the 200 levels present in this game. I also think that some of the gimmicks are a bit lame and only work at making the game more frustrating to play. This may not be an issue for most people, but I just noticed my enjoyment waning as I played through more and more levels.
To touch on the art, I really like how it looks. It's actually one of the main reasons I even decided to get this game. It's simplistic but also unique enough to the point I can't really compare the art style to any other game I've played. The character designs are cute, and the monsters have nice variety.
However, even though the art is nice, the music leaves much to be desired. The only music present is the track for the respective world, and this plays on repeat the entire game. Don't get me wrong, the music really isn't bad. I honestly really love the music that plays in the Dark Forest, but listening to the same 30-second track for around 30-60 minutes gets really grating. It got to the point where I just muted the game and listened to my own music. Thankfully, the sound effects are really nice.
All in all, I think this game is a nice little puzzle game. It gets a bit boring at times, as not much really changes from level to level besides the layout of the puzzles, but I found the overall gameplay loop to be fairly engaging in short bursts. I recommend giving this game a shot if you like puzzle games, but be sure not to play this in one sitting, as it becomes quite monotonous and boring when playing nonstop. If you don't like puzzle games, then this probably isn't the game for you.
(P.S. Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!)

This game features many of my favorite things all in one package: puzzle games, cute graphics, being kind to monsters, and food~!
This is a well-made puzzle game with a wonderful art style. While the idea of moving around a board to solve a puzzle has been done many times before, Feed All Monsters managed to make the concept both engaging and easy to understand. The pacing of the new elements and obstacles you have to deal with is done very well and it doesn't get overwhelming trying to juggle the new knowledge. The hint system is very helpful without giving the whole puzzle away and the game is very generous with giving one hint out at the end of each level; it's unlikely you'll ever run out.
This game feels pretty balanced for a puzzle game- that is difficult to pull off, but this game did it! You can finish it in about 7-10 hours, which is a good amount of playtime for such a low price. Pick up this game if you want a bit of challenge while feeding some adorable monsters.
...And now I want waffles.
