Vault-Tec engineers have worked around the clock on an interactive reproduction of Wasteland life for you to enjoy from the comfort of your own vault. Included is an expansive world, unique combat, shockingly realistic visuals, tons of player choice, and an incredible cast of dynamic characters. Every minute is a fight for survival against the terrors of the outside world — radiation, Super Mutants, and hostile mutated creatures. From Vault-Tec, America’s First Choice in Post Nuclear Simulation.

If for some reason you missed it - make sure to give it a try, even after the years since release, Fallout 3 is still a masterpiece post-apocalyptic adventure rpg. It is a lot better than Fallout 4 imho.

HOW TO PLAY ON WINDOWS 2024
Known Fix :)
-----------------
Go to your window display settings
then go to "graphics settings"
click "browse" find and add the "Fallout3" app launcher and the "FalloutLauncherSteam" in your game folder
Change the settings of both app launchers to high performance in your windows graphic settings
IF THAT DOESN'T WORK TRY THIS ALSO
Go to nexus mods
Create an account
Download
"Intel HD graphics Bypass package" for Fallout 3
Unzip the file
Add the .dll file to your Fallout 3 Folder
This all takes about 5 mins and your game should rarely if ever crash again!
MUCH LOVE!! <3 xoxo

The game gets a bad rep. Of course this isn't FNV but it's the first Fallout installment in 3D so let's give it some slack :)
But no Polish localization, no steam cards nor achievements is a great shame, what is the point of buying it on steam then?
The game has a lot of mods too, they could add mod support to steam like in Skyrim..

If the game crashed when you click new game, just get "Intel HD graphics Bypass package" from Nexus mods, will fix it even if you don't have an integrated GPU!
The game rocks!

An open world game with some RPG elements, despite its age still holds up really well today. Preferable to install some mods for some modern conveniences like borderless windowed, though.
Has a good atmosphere and enough variety in what you can do to keep you occupied for a while.

I have hundreds of hours on the 360 version, and only recently got back into it on PC. Boy howdy, was this game a masterpiece then and now. It's janky as hell, but if you look past that or install some mods, the world and expansions for this game are second to none IMO.
New Vegas was phenomenal, and gets all the credit it deserves, but Fallout 3 is the GOAT. It is never too late to experience it.

This game is very fun! Despite its older graphics, it looks amazing. I don't know how to put this but the story line is made in such a way that it makes your experience all the better. It may glitch at some parts of the game but it's always a minor glitch and not that huge.
10/10 Must try game (This goes with all the fallout franchise, and most of all New Vegas)
