A very nice 'simcade' tha works quite well with modern systems. Just get dgvoodoo2 to make sure the game looks great. A beta update from the developers has support for modern resolutions, not sure why it was not included with steams version.
But its great fun, we dont get this middle-ground between realism and arcade anymore.

Game is still great, but you need to do a couple of things, any AI can direct you whats necessary. It's simple. Just download dgvodoo (I use 2.86.4) control panel and tweak a few settings. (some settings might or not work depends on your hardware – I've tested on a mid budget and a high-end, worked in both) Go on L3.exe in the directory and disable fullscreen optimizations. You're all set.
