A true blast from the past. The sweet spot between simulation and arcade - a simcade. The scale is perfect: it take a few seconds to reach cruising altitude, a few seconds to reach your area of operations, and a few more seconds for your enemy encounter. I dealy miss this genre as the only modern simcade i know is a car game, Forza Horizon...
It's working well on modern machines but please note that you will need 3dfx to properly enjoy the game you remember. There are a few guides on Stem on how to do this.

You can't possibly know how much fun this game got me. I discovered it in 2024, yet spent lot of time with it.
If you want to play MIG29 game too, you should probably check MIG29 first. It is easier (due to MIG manouverability), simpler and there is less variety of weapons.
Playing it in opposite order was bad idea, but noone told me.

Novalogic's F-16 remains a timeless masterpiece, it's a cherished time capsule that transports me back to the golden days of my childhood, played countless hours, made friends for life!
