主人公が野蛮人！
主人公まわりの設定がなかなかベタな感じですき。
主人公は父親が亡くなり、跡取りとなった"第二子"。
献身的な幼馴染がおり、気配り上手な優男の狩人が親友。
なお、人にも才能にも恵まれて長になる弟/妹と違い、長男は弱く勇猛さもないので不適格とされ、不満を抱えてそう。...不和の予感。
世代交代とともに、前首長に不満があった陣営が行動開始。
同村のチンピラが葬儀の席をブチ壊して刃傷沙汰に発展、次期首長への危害は見過ごされず粛清へ。
次は、次期首長と認めない男が決闘を持ちかけて、敗北を認めると配下に。
終わったかと思えば、おそらく一番厄介な陣営からの回し者が。
（ボスのデカいオッサンは、図体ばかりじゃなくと頭も回りそうで良いキャラ）
キャラの相関がわかりやすいのと、ストーリーの滑り出しがテンポよくていい感じ！
あちこちで（あいつ敵になるぞ）感を出してくれてるので、第１章のボスはコイツか！と目標が明確になっている。
戦闘はなかなかシビア。１つ間違えたり、風向きが悪い戦闘だとすごい勢いで崩れる。
逆に敵がデレ行動だったり、こちらがうまく行動できれば、一見絶望的そうな盤面でもイケる様子。
ただ若干操作がややこしい。うっかりスペース押してターン終了にしてしまったり、意図しないコマが意図しない場所に動いてしまって、やり直したことも何度か...。（戦闘がシビアなので、まあ１ターンくらいいいかじゃ済まない）
戦闘中はセーブできないので、こまめにクイックセーブするのがよい。
