- Choice & Consequence: Use your skills to avoid hostility or, when diplomacy breaks down, adapt your tactics to highly varied terrains across more than 70 battlefields.
- Challenge your friends to tactical PvP combat in either Hot Seat mode or via TCP/ICP.

Auf in die Neue Welt
Hier geht’s zu meinem Waetsch's Play:
Mit "Expeditions: Conquistador" spielen wir den ersten Teil der Expeditions-Reihe. Wir landen in Südamerika und müssen erst mal die Karte entdecken, gegen Rebellen kämpfen und natürlich Missionen erfüllen. Der Grafik merkt man die Jahre an, manche Stellen sind so furchtbar überbelichtet oder etwas verschwommen. Auch sonst merkt man diesem Teil an, dass er am Anfang steht. Die Spielmechaniken wirken teils noch etwas ungelenk und nicht so richtig ausgereift. Dennoch findet man hier ein ziemlich unverbrauchtes Setting und ein Spiel, mit dem man Spaß haben kann. Wer ein runderes Erlebnis haben möchte, kann sich Expeditions: Rome anschauen. Der erste Teil ist aber auch spielenswert.
