the Game
A strange signal… an alien craft… an interplanetary, gravity-defying journey through space and time.
On the anniversary of the Jupiter disaster, an alien signal transmits construction blueprints for an alien craft, which humanity builds, called Exo One.
Master a truly alien traversal system and move through enigmatic and desolate alien landscapes in ways you’ve never experienced. Control gravity itself and build momentum to reach colossal speeds and exhilarating heights.
Ride thermal updrafts into boiling cloud formations, careen down hillsides and launch off mountain tops, all the time drifting toward the shining blue beam on the horizon. Atmospheric, diffused visuals are merged with otherworldly sound effects and a hypnotic electric guitar soundtrack.
Pilot your craft on mankind’s first voyage outside the solar system, and go on an interplanetary journey across space and time.

A simple game with fun mechanics. Looks good and is fun to play, but there is not that much content unless you try to get all the achievements at which point it becomes repetitive.
Recommend, but wait for a discount.

Beautiful game, defiantly worth the pick up when it's on sale!
Exo One is a very chill and pleasant game with great atmosphere, and visually unique planets. Tricks are exhilarating and controls are basic enough to pick up pretty quickly.
Overall, a relaxing atmospheric game where flying through the clouds of unworldly planets never felt so satisfying! Controls are easy to learn, the landscapes/planets look exceedingly well, the soundtrack is extremely calming, and you really do get a sense of distance from each of the planets.
I recommend only picking up Exo One when it goes on sale, as there is no replay ability, no chapter select and almost feels unfinished to a point.

When I first started this game I had no idea what was going on and could not get the ship to do what I wanted. But I decided I'd come back to it and give it more time, and I am so glad I did, because it was much better than I expected. The story does not hold your hand, you'll have to piece the nebulous details together, but it really got to me. The physics were much more fun once I hit the water planet and really figured out how to go fast. After finishing the game, zipping around is still fun to see how extreme I can get, but the real gem for me was the story.

Beautiful. When you manage to get in the flow, it really is like nothing else. The sound design is superb.

This game satisfies a specific itch in my brain for exploring alien worlds with spectacular scenery as a marble ball that Venineth created for me, but in a shorter and faster style without puzzles. Its atmosphere, movement system, soundtrack, and sound design easily gets Exo One a spot in my favorites collection alongside Venineth and love that I can just break the sound barrier whenever I feel like.
Normally I'd leave a review once I 100% a game but I genuinely recommend this game to anyone into speedy space flying with an interesting story

A great game for anyone who loves flying their hand in the wind out the window of a moving car, or standing on a high point and imagining gliding down over and around the obstacles spread out below. Peaceful, relaxing, oddly addictive. Great to unwind and just, fly.
Steam only shows 5 hours on record for me but I know I've played many more hours than that.

Visually stunning and incredibly cool. Exo One is a very interesting game that's like a hybrid of flight games and physics platformers. Absolutely worth experiencing. There's not a whole lot to it, but I feel like that's kind of the point: use gravity to your advantage and zip around some crazy cool spacey environments.
It does leave me itching for more like this that is presented in a more gamey way though, but I haven't seen anything quite like it, and I don't even know how that would work as this definitely seemed like the right direction to go. The movement is good once you get used to it, and almost every planet is unique and memorable, though I didn't really like the one level with the smaller planets. Definitely recommend experiencing this one for something a bit different.
