Evoland 2 graphics style is changing as you travel through time and its gameplay evolves as you move along the storyline. Größer, abwechslungsreicher, aber auch wesentlich verworrener, ich hab selten bei einem Game mal ne Lösung hernehmen müssen, hier war das 2-3 mal der Fall, weil man durch die 3 Zeitebenen doch recht oft alles in einer ganz bestimmten Reihenfolge erledigten muss. Das Game ist auch nur teilweise linear glaub ich, man kann an bestimmten Punkten im Spiel öfter mal entscheiden was man zuerst machen will. Errungenschaften sind auch absolut nicht schwer, das meiste ist nur Suchen.

Its a fun RPG and FAR superior to Evoland 1!
E1 was mostly references you had to know to enjoy and even then some of those fell rather flat and predictable with only 5hrs of actual playtime and even then it had grinding. (Though the cave item joke was hilarious!!)
E2 got its own identity, a good sense of humor and 'servicable' story and characters.
I think the worldbuilding isn't bad but rather 'by the books'. You wont find deep writing or shocking plottwists BUT it makes up for it with a solid core and colorful world and a far better use of the howl 'rpg through the ages' aspect...
It is a simple and straight forward RPG!
I think the ppl who will enjoy it the most are those who never got into RPGs but would like to try.
Adults that remember the good old times of Snes and want to spend a good time without worrying about meta-builds and complex systems.
Its a chill game. Thats all I got to say! :)
You can feel the love for RPGs the devs have, that's for sure, putting in double extra effort for the sequel.

Viele Spielmodi die angewendet werden. Sehr unterhaltsam und für mich eine schöne Reise durch die Vergangenheit gewesen.
