Currently in development; Engines of Destruction is a large scale tactical, PvP, FPS with a central focus on mechs, communication and combined arms combat.

– Pilot enormous mechs.

Step into the cockpit of giant fighting machines, customise them with a wide choice of weapons, equipment, paintjobs and more. Mechs feature per module damage systems, that affect the piloting experience. Mechs also feature radar, for use in weapon targeting, enemy unit detecting as well as identifying friend from foe.

– Engage in detailed infantry combat.

The infantry gameplay features a large suite of tactical movement, full “true FPS” (the first and third person are the same model, simulating a full characters body), a detailed medical system, an inventory system and more.

– Talk to your teammates with simulated radio communication.

Communication ingame takes place through simulated radios. There are several types of radio, each having different range. As well as this radios can be interrupted in other ways, for example if there is a large terrain feature inbetween two radios.

– Customise your infantry and mech loadouts.

Infantry can be customised with trousers, shirts, vests, helmets/hats, glasses, masks shoes, gloves, backpacks and more. They can also carry up to 3 weapon systems at once in different classes, pistol, launcher, rifle etc.

Mechs also feature a large amount of customisation, all weapon systems can be switched out, they fit under two classifications; “large” and “small” slots. They can also be fitted with smoke grenade launchers, additional armour, capacitor additions and more in a variety of other unique slots.

– Expansive terrain

Featured in EOD is a huge level, while it is currently in development we estimate it to be 875km². This level will facilitate the enormous variety of gameplay EOD has to offer.

– Drive cars, IFVs, APCs and other ground vehicles.

EOD features almost every classification of ground vehicle you can imagine, only missing the main battle tank, as in the world of EOD it has been replaced by the mech. These facilitiate uses from transport to combat engagements.

– Pilot helicopters and jets and more aircraft on a large battlefield.

Similar to the ground vehicles, EOD features a large number of aircraft for combat, transport and logistic purposes. Heli-lift a mech into the combat zone, or run an attack with a armed helicopter, it’s all in the players hands.

– Mod support

EOD will feature a full suite of tools to create modded content. The mod tools will make it as easy as possible to produce content that fits within existing systems, for example vehicles, mechs, infantry weapons. While also enabling the creation of new game mechanics or systems as mods.

– Fight in many gamemodes or create your own in the editor.

To go alongside the mod support, the game features a level editor allowing the creation of new user generated gamemodes and missions.

– Plot

Set in a near future dystopia, in the wake of a failed alien invasion; the game focuses on conflict between private military companies and independent factions. These groups fight enormous battles over precious resources, on several sprawling terrains using a huge variety of equipment. The particular series of conflicts EOD revolves around take place when a company, previously very profitable and secure are unable to pay their private security. This causes the entire island to be unstable and mostly evacuated, this resource rich environment now up for grabs countless companies bankroll the deployment of PMCs in the region.

– Environment

EOD features a large environment based on the west coast of Scotland, with an apocalyptic twist. It features a diverse range of beaches, forests, plains, mountains and urban environments including military bases, small villages, towns and cities. Terrain of this size facilitates all range of gamemodes and vehicles on offer in EOD, from armoured cars to supersonic jet fighters.
