STORY
The end of the Interstellar War left the planet of Arcadia in ruins.
But just when the world began to see peace and stability, the “Auto Drones” went berserk and brought destruction to the lands. “Sion Obsidias” will pilot the high-tech aerial combat device, the “Valkyrie”, to fight against the Auto Drones and restore peace to the world.
CONSEPT
ELYSION is a game that combines 2D Anime girls, the military and Sci-fi. Even though it’s a shooting game, it is a story-driven game with over 15,000 characters of dialogue. It is a side-scroller Sci-fi shooting game with high resolution chibi characters that move fluidly across the screen!
GAMESYSTEM
We were able to add new elements into an established genre that is shooting games.
・Bombs, options, “slow speed mode” and the grazing system are all elements we have incorporated from well-known Doujin shooting games. During “slow speed mode”, dual-firing the machine gun and gattling gun will increase their damage.
・Incorporating a “HP Bar”, which is pretty rare for classical shooting games. HP can be recovered via the use of items.
・Standard shots have a spreading effect. The further you are to the enemy, the weaker the damage. Enemies drop score-up items when you defeat them quickly. The key to scoring high is to fight close range while avoiding enemy attacks.
・Gamepad support is implemented for players who want more precise control over their character.
・Includes cute animated cut scenes for bomb explosions. This might mess with your focus, but for this instance, we prioritized pretty girls over the fluidity.
CHARACTER
Sion Obsidias
Grew up in an orphanage. Enlisted in the 99th Aerial Battalion to fight Auto Drones. Second lieutenant. Has big breasts.
Ruri Clerodendrum
Thinks of Sion as a worthy rival, but that feeling doesn’t seem to be mutual with Sion. Her close combat skills are unparalleled in the military. She looks and acts a lot younger than her age, so she’s popular among her peers. Flat chested.
Hudie Yue
A bounty hunter who goes around destroying and salvaging parts from Auto Drones. She’s one of the strongest Demi-humans out there, and handles heavy weaponry with ease. Huge breasts.
Lycoris
An artificial lifeform from Arcadia. She’s not a great fighter, but she’s able to control Auto Drones to some extent. Flat as a board.
Elys
An artificial lifeform with an incredibly high aptitude for combat. She’s a prized and valuable fighter of the Church. Has big breasts.

Intro
ELYSION. This is a 2D side scrolling action shooting game made by RONIN GAMES. If you are interested in this game, you may have experienced this in advance at TGS 2019. At first, the game appeared to be released as early access, but it was actually released as a full version. Regardless of that, army girls are so cute, enough to draw our attention.
Game Experience
Clearly, this game focuses on specific points. It's cute anime girls' boob and butt. It's quite outstanding and fascinating. In addition, the voice acting of the army girls appearing in this game is very sweet. Throughout the game, the player keeps looking forward to seeing what cute and hot army girl will come next. The game illustrator seems to be very familiar with sensual character poses!
Gameplay is similar to other side-scrolling bullet hell games. There is an HP bar, and you can use special bombs as your character's unique skill. There are 6 stages in total. Boss battles await you at the end of each stage. Interestingly, each character includes an expression that describes the size of the boobs. There are 3 difficulty levels to choose from, but without the continues, even Easy Mode is somewhat harder to clear at once. Play time is about 2 hours.

Verdict :
ELYSION. It's okay as an animation character game, but as a shooting game, it's mediocre. The game has good potential, but it gives the impression that it is not doing well at the current level. First of all, optimization updates should be made first. And in future updates, we hope to add options like photo/gallery mode that we can take pictures and play with these lovely chibi characters. Because the biggest attraction of this game is the cute and hot army girls. This game will surely entertain your eyes and ears. Recommended!

I really enjoyed this game. The system isn't the deepest but the character models have a lot of personality and the fully voice-acted story is way more sophisticated than it needed to be (which I found hilarious). Think of the eXceed series, but with better visuals.
Special mention should also be made of the tough-as-nails difficulty. Thank goodness they added a very easy mode, or I would have never made it out of that story alive. Still, there's enough content there to make me try again on a harder difficulty level, so I count that as a win.
While it doesn't quite compare with the likes of Suguri/Sora or Deathsmiles, this game is well worth the (sale) price for any fan of cute girls flying around and punching sh!t up with bulletholes.

It is a fun game, with 3 difficulties: easy, normal and hard, the normal difficulty is quite good to start and start in the genre of bullet hell, it is more difficult than a classic shoot em up but not at the level of a Touhou. If you want a challenge and are used to this genre, play hard.
It is short and easy to handle, but difficult to perfect the skill.
The graphic part is beautiful, it is quite anime, surprisingly with a great emphasis on the story and all the voices of the characters narrated.
I recommend it! It is currently at a good price, and it is expected that in the future there will be patches that continue the story and add more playable characters.
(OH! On the store page it says that Windows 10 is the minimum requirement, but I tried it on Windows 7 and it looks perfect! I'll let you know!)

It's ok game.
Good:
+ Visuals are great
+ VO is well done as well
+ Gameplay is decent
Bad:
- Very short
- Levels of volumes are random, you get ear-r@ped very often.
- One girl to play
- Blue colored projectiles with blue colored points pickups? WHY?!
- Hard to dodge because of projectile fade, shapes and different speeds, total disaster.

~ Too many projectiles sometimes
~ Enemies too healthy, even on "easy"
Played it on normal, gave up on trying at 1st stage and ignored score penalty to blaze through game with infinite continues. Who cares about points anyway.
My recommendation if you ever going to buy this game:
- Play on easy
- Care not about points
- Enjoy Well made war-waifus
- After finishing the "Story" uninstall.
