This game was a great way to distract myself during the difficult Covid period, so regardless of its actual quality, I still give it a positive review.
That said, speaking about the game itself, it's both astonishing and worrying to realize that football video game simulation has essentially stalled at this title (ironically, the 2021 version has aged worse, even though it's 90% identical to this one).
The fluidity of the animations, the gameplay, the matches as a whole, the graphics—both in detail and overall impact—the structure of the Master League… everything has a consistency and functionality that often makes you overlook many of its flaws.
It's incredible how Konami squandered all this potential for that “thing” that I struggle to even call a video game...
