I find it hard to put into words how this game makes me feel—it's simply wonderful. It captures that classic Quake/Doom-style shooter vibe, combined with fun and cleverly designed secrets. These aren’t just your typical "jump here to reach an otherwise inaccessible area" moments (though some of those still exist); instead, you often discover ammo and armor in genuinely rewarding ways.
Don't get me wrong—those more straightforward secrets still have value, especially because they provide useful resources. But in Dusk, you want to find the secrets. You actively enjoy searching for them. The game offers subtle clues scattered throughout the map, encouraging you to piece things together as you explore.

Very fun to play, lots of easter eggs and tons of exploring. Intuitive gameplay.
The Dusk experience is basically mixing Doom, Quake and Unreal tournament with some lovecraftian horror.
Fast, relentless and with a great overall concept.
With 33 levels it´s not that much in terms of maps but at the same time I don´t feel like it should be much bigger. One of the biggest strenghts is its simplicity, which is also a bit of criticism for me as there are not many different types of enemies, which is a bit of a bummer.
On average you probably spend like 6-20 hours on your first playthrough, depending on how much you want to discover the map. Without any assistance I´d say you can double that to find all secrets and try to speedrun here and there.
Beating every level as a pacifist, low-tech, without damage or on Hardcore mode easily multiplies your playtime.
Soundtrack is pretty cool ngl and the different graphics options are a nice addition.
It should be running on almost any machine by now, so deffo something for people who are not willing to sell their kidney for a gaming setup.
9/10 would totally recommend!

I enjoyed around 95% of the game. The Levels are fun and interessting, but the last 5% of the game are a bit annoying and out of touch with the rest of the game. It felt like the developers wanted to make the last few levels as hard and crazy as possible: Too many unfair enemys in close spaces, too many scary horror encounters...the last 5% of the game just felt excausting for me.

One of the best FPS games ever released. Period! Awesome experience. Would definetly buy a second part if there ever will be one.

One of the best old school doom like shooters I've played in a long time. Getting all the achievements was a bit frustrating but very fun tho.
