Dream Bright ist ein kostenloses kleines 3D-Adventure mit Plattformingsequenzen, das mit nur rund 20 Minuten ein sehr kurzes Spielerlebnis bietet. Aber diese 20 Minuten ist das Spiel allemal wert.
Das Erste, was auffällt, ist die sehr gefällige Präsentation. Alles wirkt sehr nett gemacht, von den skizzenhaften Bildern, welche die grobe Story erzählen, bis zur sehr hübschen 3D-Grafik. Das Ganze ist insgesamt sehr ansprechend gestaltet. Gerade unter kostenlosen Spielen ist das ja keine Selbstverständlichkeit und deshalb ragt das hier auch deutlich heraus.
Sehr positiv ist auch die Story. Die bleibt mir insgesamt etwas vage, trotzdem wirkt sie sehr sympathisch und genügend rund. Es geht um ein Mädchen, das mit Hilfe seines Plüschtiers(?) versucht, seine Ängste zu überwinden und sich Spielsachen zurückzuholen. Das ist keine weltbewegende Geschichte, aber nett gemacht und eben einfach sympathisch.
Dazu kommt ein sehr gefälliges Gameplay. Es gibt zum einen Schleichpassagen, zum anderen aber auch Plattforming. Beides funktioniert recht gut. Ja, die Steuerung ist nicht ultrapräzise und reagiert manchmal etwas träge, aber das bleibt völlig okay, zumal die Checkpoints sehr fair gesetzt sind und die Gesamtspielzeit ja auch wirklich nicht lang ist. Gerade das Plattforming macht dabei wirklich Spass.
Fazit: Ein sympathisches kleines Spiel, das einfach gut ist. Nicht das Beste, was es je gab, aber doch sehr kurzweilig und unterhaltsam, sodass ich es herzlichst weiterempfehle.
