OVERVIEW
DRAGON QUEST XI S is the last entry in the legendary RPG series from creator Yuji Horii, character designer Akira Toriyama and composer Koichi Sugiyama. This eleventh main entry is a completely standalone experience that features new characters, a beautifully detailed world, finely tuned turn-based combat, and an immersive story that will appeal to longtime fans and franchise newcomers alike. STORY
A young man, about to participate in his village’s coming of age ceremony, travels to a sacred stone alongside his childhood friend. After a series of unexpected events, this intrepid adventurer learns he is the reincarnation of a legendary hero from a forgotten age.
The young hero sets forth into an unknown world on a journey to unravel the mystery of his past… but the welcome he receives is far from warm. Upon revealing his identity to the King, the hero is branded as “The Darkspawn” and hunted by a relentless army.
Fleeing from his pursuers, the hero assembles a band of endearing adventurers who believe he is actually The Luminary reborn. The Luminary and his newfound companions embark on a quest that will take them across continents and over vast oceans as they learn of an ominous threat facing the world.

自分がバカすぎて、ものすごく悲しくて悔しいのでここに書きます。
まず、ゲーム自体はとてもおもしろく、ドラクエ全シリーズファンですが歴代でもストーリー、ゲーム性など一番だと思いますので強くおすすめします。
しかし、これはすべて私自身の自業自得なのですが、１００時間ほどプレイしてストーリーも、さあここからまだまだおもしろくなるぞ！というところで、ある日突然セーブデータが全て破損しました。
理由はおそらく私のPCのセーブデータが保存されているローカルディスクCという領域の容量不足により保存が上手く出来ておらず、そのままゲームを終了してしまったのでデータがクラッシュしたのだと思います。。。
その結果、愚かにもデータのバックアップも取っておらず（←これが本当に愚かでした）、クラウドにも同期していたので破損したデータが一緒にクラウドにも保存されてしまい（←おそらくですが）、そのまま破損したデータだけが残り完全にセーブデータが消えてしまいました。
もちろん色んな方法を調べて復旧を試みました。
まず再起動、アンインストールから再インストール、ファイルにセーブデータが残っているかの確認、ゲームの整合性チェック、steamクラウドのデータ確認など調べて出てきた内容はほとんどやってみたのですがすべて意味がありませんでした。。。
今作はとてもボリュームがあり１００時間でまだ３５レベルほどで強い装備なども取ったり縛りプレイなども駆使して割と頑張っていたので本当にショックでした。
私は強くないので一度失ったものの悲しみはもう二度と経験したくないですし、傷つきたくない弱者なのでもう二度と同じ経験はしたくないといこともあり、しばらくこのゲームから離れようと思いますが、それは私が勇者じゃなかったというだけなので大人しく他のゲームをプレイしようと思います。
ここで私が伝えたいことは、データのバックアップは絶対に作るべきであるということです。
基礎知識であり初歩的な基本のことなのでもちろん多くの方は言われるまでもないかとは思います。
ですが、私自身、これまであらゆるゲームをsteamでプレイしてきてゲームが落ちたり、フリーズするようなことは何度もあれど、一度もデータが破損したことはありませんでした。
それに甘えて万が一のバックアップという保険をおろそかにし、その結果いざという時に今回のような最悪の事態になりました。
本当に私自身がズボラでPCの基本も知らないことが悪いのですが、今回大切な思い出が消えてしまったことに非常に悲しみと悔しさを感じています。
最後にこれを読んでくれた方は絶対にパソコンの容量にかなりの余裕を持って（今回はローカルディスクC）、バックアップなどは面倒でも必ず作ることを強くおすすめします。スマホなども同じです。絶対にしてください。

人生初のドラクエだったが、面白すぎて感動。初見の人も絶対にやるべきです。

ドラクエは１～6までと９・10とクリアしており、７と８は未プレイなのですが、今作の11は１～３のロトシリーズと４～６の天空シリーズが主に関わりがあるらしいということで未プレイの７・８があっても問題はないだろう判断してプレイすることにしました。今作にはドラクエシリーズの集大成のような仕掛けが散りばめられており、往年のシステムを継承しつつもユーザーが冒険を進めやすくなる工夫が随所にされていると感じました。特にレベル上げは、今までにないぐらい楽でしたね。初見キラーのようなボスでなければレベル上げを意識してやらずとも物語を進めていけると思います(難易度高めでやりたい方は縛りプレイモードをどうぞ)。バトルは各属性攻撃をもうちょい際立たせるような仕掛けがほしかったなと感じる部分もありましたが、シリーズを通して得ている知識もありますので、それらを活かして縛りプレイのほうが楽しめたのかもしれませんね。肝心の物語については、ドラクエシリーズをどれだけ冒険したかによって印象が変わる大変味わい深いもので、冒頭で書いている１～６をプレイしていればこその感動があるのですが、逆にこの11を一番最初にプレイできる幸運な方を羨望の眼差しで見たい気持ちにもなれるような大冒険でした。めちゃ楽しかった！最後に、このシリーズに欠かすことのできない伝説となってしまった偉大な方々に感謝します。ありがとうございました。

Switch版で真裏ボス攻略済みでしたが高フレームレート・高画質でプレイしたくSteam版も購入しました。
最後にプレイしたのが6年くらい前でストーリーをかなり忘れていたためこちらでも実績コンプまで飽きることなくプレイできました。
個人的にターン制JRPGの中ではストーリー・システム・楽曲どれもかなり高い水準の作品でこういったRPGをプレイしない層の入門としてP5と共におススメしたい完成度だと思っています。特に仲間キャラは全員今までにないくらい魅力的な人物ばかりでこれだけでもプレイする価値があると思っています。
また今作はドラクエシリーズの集大成ということもあり過去作ネタも沢山盛り込まれており過去作のファンには嬉しい演出が多かったです。
ドラクエ12も開発中であることが発表されていますが、本作からどれだけ進化するのか、全く新しいドラクエとして登場するのか今からとても楽しみです。
(余談)
本作はSwitch版DQ11Sをベースとしているため、キャラのモデルや背景がswitchに向けてチューニングされたものを使用されておりPS4版のDQ11よりクオリティが低いものになってしまっています。
こちらは自己責任となりますが、NexusModsにパーティキャラとNPC・モンスター・背景のモデルをPS4版のものに置き換えるMODが有志によって用意されておりますので気になる方は導入してみてください。
モンスターは一目見て違いが分かるほどクオリティが上がります。人間キャラは違いが分かりにくい部分がありますがNPCのバニーや踊り子を見れば全然違うことがわかるかと思います。本当に違います。
また、槍や一部敵キャラの攻撃モーションにおけるフレームレートが30FPSに固定化されてしまっている不具合の修正を行うMODもあります。
こちらは推奨レベルでおススメします。地味ではありますが自分はかなりストレスが軽減されました。

ドラクエらしい王道の冒険譚です。
操作の快適性も申し分なく、ストレスフリーでプレイすることができました。
日本語でプレイ可能なので安心してお楽しみください。
個人的には、実績解除愛好家にお勧めしたい一品です。
わたくしもできればトロフィーコンプリートを目指したいタイプでして、そうなると気になるのは「取り返しのつかない要素」なのです。
気に入ったゲームだから全実績解除したいと思っても、
「だったらもう1周遊んでね！」
と言われてしまっては……ソフトがこんなにある時代ですもの、心が折れてしまうこともございます。
対策として攻略情報とにらめっこしながら進めることもできますが、作品への没入感は損なわれがち。
ですが、本作品は取り返しのつかない要素がございません。
心ゆくまで自力で物語を楽しみ、その上で実績解除に乗り出しても十分間に合います。
むしろ話を進めてからの方が効率的に条件を達成できることでしょう。
どうか、トロフィーの魅力によって物語を楽しむことを忘れかけてしまったプレイヤーにこのメッセージが届きますように。

4年前に裏ボス手前までプレイして断念していたので、DQ1~3リメイクをクリアしたノリで再プレイ。
全実績コンプしてプレイ時間が100時間超えました。かなりガッツリ遊べるRPGです。
ストーリー、ゲームシステム、音楽などドラクエの世界観を存分に楽しめます。
RPGとしてもお手本のような出来栄えで、RPGにあまり触れたことがない人、
あるいはRPGが大好きな人にも幅広く「SteamでオススメするJRPGナンバーワン」と言えます。
セールにもなると3000円くらいで買えるんですが、前述した通りめちゃくちゃ長く遊べます。
ナンバリング的に言えば後発なのですが、ドラクエ世界の時系列で言えば始まりのストーリーになるので、
ドラクエシリーズがリメイクされている昨今、どのシリーズから手を付けたらいいかわからない…。という方にオススメ。シンプルにドラゴンクエストに興味がある方にも圧倒的にオススメします。神ゲーです。是非ともプレイしてみてください！
