DOGOS has updated classic shmup games by introducing current technology elements, such as 3D graphics and dynamic camera vision. By imitating open world games, the payercan move around freely through the scenarios, in any direction. This is a real innovation for games of this kind. DOGOS is revitalizing the genre, and invites you to live a real action-packed experience that will challenge your skills and your senses. Loads of shots and explosions, and an incredible, catchy soundtrack. If you like fast-paced, thrilling videogames, then DOGOS is just for you.

An Action Arcade Shooter
+ The gameplay is pretty fun. In Dogus you fly a ship from a top down perspective, and must destroy flying and ground enemies with your blastors / missiles / special abilities to complete a variety of objectives
+ Visually very appealing. The levels are very detailed beautiful 3D environments
+ Some pretty neat sections where the camera angle changes, and you fly through canyons at pretty high speed while trying to avoid hitting enemies or the sides of the rock.
+ Very challenging large scale bosses
+ Great soundtrack
- The gameplay felt a bit disorientating at times. You constantly spin in circles to shoot enemies, while flying in another direction which can be a tad nauseating with the 3D environment below.
- I felt like there wasn't enough enemy variety causing some levels to get a tad repetitive.
~ I really wish there was a side dash. Sometimes it can be hard to dodge enemy fire without any movement abilities, and your ship moves rather slow.
~ There really needs to be an auto-fire button for your ground weapons. It really gets tiring pressing the trigger over and over, especially when you get to the second boss which requires you to shoot like 100+ missiles to defeat it.

Review
DOGOS is a shmup set in 14 open world levels, made by the Argentinian developers from OPQAM.
The Earth was invaded by the Zeetnuks, a race of biomechanical beings.
You play the role of Desmond and the destiny of the human race is in your hands.
You should play this game using a controller.
The left stick to move forward and the right stick to rotate the ship.
You have one button for the air weapon, another button for the ground weapon and a third one for the special weapon. Also, you have a button to see the level map.
You have only 4 different air weapons, 3 different ground weapons and 2 different ships.
Pros:
Beautiful graphics.
Detailed maps.
Achievements.
Challenging.
Fun.
Suggestions/Cons
Options to control the volume in-game.
The level bosses can make you rage quit the game.

7/10

I played and recorded DOGOS, and i had a lot of fun.
It was so much better than what i expected it to be!
Played the full game in a row, no breaks for other games.
In DOGOS you are Desmund, a survivor that escaped with his little airship.
There were a lot of those in the past, but most have died in an attack from the Zeetnuk.
Now you come in, to defeat the Zeetnuk!
