Dirt 4 manages what very few racing games do. It’s driving is challenging yet accessible, and it pairs this with an almost endless amount of content. The career mode is robust, and the stages are varied and beautifully designed, but the ability to create your own unique tracks using Your Stage is what sets Codemasters’ game apart from every other rally game that has come before.

Very fun, even in 2025. Since it's delisted, it's worth picking up a Steam key if you get it less than $10 like I did.

Rallying game with your own preference if you wanna play it casually or in a simulation way.

relatively good racing game, just a little bit old, but sometimes that's even better :)

I played this game over 5 years, across 3 PCs, using 2 controllers.
It has been a trusty comfort game, and I'm sad I've finished it because I'll probably never play it again. It was fun even when it ran at 15 fps on my mum's laptop, which at this point is half a potato. There's an absurd difficulty spike when moving up a difficulty preset mostly because of the AI which also has a wee quirk where it's ludicrously fast on straights in certain Sweden stages.
This is an excellent flow game, after getting kinda good at it, it becomes meditative.
I recommend moving up through the handling presets even if you're not ready for the more difficult AI opponents. Also try not to reset too much, play through your mistakes, if you go flying off a cliff because you were trying to make back the time you lost the last time you flew off a cliff, it's ok, try again and you'll make it to the next one.
I'll miss it, but I look forward to playing the other Dirt games.
Right sex.

I enjoy playing this game. It's not like older games where you only just buy a car, then upgrades, then go race. In this one, you need to learn something called money management on when should you upgrade your team, as well as purchasing new cars for upcoming events.
