To druga część serii, w którą grałem (co prawda grałem w złej kolejności, bo wcześniej przeszedłem Mankind Divided) i ta gra również mi się podobała. Co prawda ma już swoje lata i znacznie odstaje od dzisiejszych produkcji pod względem jakości grafiki, wielkości i otwartości świata, czy też pod względem fizyki i interakcji, ale czasami ważniejsza od tego jest ciekawa fabuła, zaskakujący rozwój akcji i wyraziste postacie. Na plus zdecydowanie fakt, że można ją przechodzić w sposób agresywny lub skradankowy, a każdy problem można rozwiązać na kilka sposobów. Gra zdecydowanie warta tego, żeby jej poświęcić te kilkadziesiąt godzin.

Celem deweloperów przy tworzeniu Human Revolution było zachowanie wszystkich najważniejszych elementów składowych oryginalnego Deus Exa i ich uproszczenie. Właściwie na tym może zakończyć dowolną recenzję DE:HR. To dobry action-stealth RPG, dopiero po tym immersive sim. Gra ma solidne podstawy: rozwój postaci jest satysfakcjonujący, poziomy dobre, strzelanie oraz skradania również, lecz brakuje (użyje tych słów z braku laku) różnorodności i swobody, jaką to można było spotkać w pierwowzorze, Dishonored czy Prey'u 2017.
Niemniej, właśnie dzięki tej symplifikacji mechanik rozrywkowych Deus Ex: Human Revolution to świetny punkt startowy dla gatunku immersive simów. I nie najgorszy wybór wśród gier akcji utrzymanych w gatunku thrillerów politycznych
