I thought it will be a regular story, but it was so much better than expected. The gameplay is negligible -from what i've seen, the decisions doesn't affect the ending in this one-, and it limits to tell the story and branch just some dialogue by the choices you make. Not a revolutionary storytelling, but the characters were memorable for the duration of the game, and for the price, it was a good shot for me.
Recommended for anyone who is curious about it, and who wants a small and self-contained story. Not a game changer, but a good one, at least for any sensible soul.

5/10, only recommended if you really like visual novels, this sounds really interesting and it's on sale at a good discount, at least 50% off.
I didn't outright dislike Demonic Blade, the first third of it was pretty solid and there were a couple twists throughout the story that I didn't see coming which I mostly enjoyed, but unfortunately its very mediocre overall. I feel bad saying that as I can tell that work went into this and as someone who used to be pretty passionate about storytelling the last thing I would ever want to do is risk stifling someone else's creativity, but the truth is this just wasn't very good. It was often derivative, convoluted and occasionally nonsensical, and while I'm sure the fact it was seemingly written by someone who has English as a second language does contribute to some of those issues it doesn't completely account for them, in addition there are a number of misspellings and weird sentence structure issues that left me a little unsure of what was going on. It also requires you to heavily rely on imagination, maybe there were budget constraints but only a few characters actually appear so we know what they look like and there's nothing else but background images. Honestly, I think you've seen about 75% of the art just from the images shown on the store page. The music is pretty neat, though I did end up turning it off for most of my time spent as I wanted to listen to something else. I'm happy to support an independent developer and I didn't want to ruin the so far 100% approval rate Demonic Blade has, but if it weren't for those two factors I think I'd regret this one, and probably hit the thumbs down instead.
And as a side note, at the end of the game a character refers to you by whatever you had named your computer, which to me seemed terribly invasive.

Twelve episode kinetic novel. Well, there are choices but I'm not sure any of them change the story. Decent for what it is. Might suggest getting it on discount.
