Dear Devere

I went in fully blind, recommended by a friend, and it was perfect.
I didn't expect something so short to feel so magical and to get me attached to it so quickly. The writing is phenomenal and witty, and the voice acting brings it to even higher levels. I think the devs nailed the game's voice choice and direction. I also love the way the atmosphere was handled; I was immersed in minutes. I felt it all: joy, tension, amusement, anger, relief, fear, acceptance . . . I can't express enough how remarkable this experience was.
I fully recommend this visual novel. Please, give it a try.

Dear Devere is a charming short visual novel that follows the unexpected romance between Angela and a man living in the forest -- Devere. All though the beginning was a tad bit boring, the story quickly picked up, leaving you on the edge of your seat in anticipation of what will happen next. The plot wasn't anything groundbreaking, but it is a nice game that you can complete in under an hour. I give it a solid 7/10

It is my great honor. As an investigator, I witnessed this dramatic love story unfold from beginning to end. What was pleasantly surprising was how exquisitely crafted these emails were, and how the voice acting for the main characters was so perfectly matched and emotionally resonant that it was genuinely moving. It's worth mentioning that the refined interactive interface also complemented everything exceptionally well. These beautifully written emails connected the emotions of each character, allowing me to empathize so deeply that I felt bathed in love.
I sincerely apologize, but the one shortcoming is that this exquisite love story was far too brief, leaving me longing for more. Could a sequel be made? I eagerly anticipate it!
Graceful words and dazzlingly beautiful illustrations inevitably spark the imagination—indeed, imagination is one of the greatest charms of this genre. It reminded me of affectionate letters exchanged during my school days, and also brought to mind the well-known love story of Beauty and the Beast. I am deeply grateful to the creators for helping me rediscover so many beautiful memories and for allowing me to witness yet another beautiful love story.
Finally, the ending of a love story inevitably must be beautiful. As an investigator, I would never want to disrupt their known romantic journey with an investigation into a missing persons case. Wherever they have gone, I believe the heroine and her lover have already escaped the village she didn't love, to embrace infinite love.

По мере прохождения читаешь её мысли, тревоги и надежды, выраженные через прекрасную, словно акварельную, графику и спокойную, меланхоличную музыку. Механика проста: нужно кликать по объектам на экране, чтобы продвигаться дальше в рассказе и узнавать новые детали о жизни героини и её окружении.
Ощущение от игры — это тихая грусть и светлая надежда. Видно, что над проектом работали люди, вложившие в него душу. 'Dear Devere' заставляет задуматься о ценности мирной жизни и о том, как война влияет на судьбы обычных людей. Несмотря на короткую продолжительность, игра оставляет после себя сильное впечатление и долгое послевкусие. Это не просто развлечение, а скорее интерактивный рассказ, который трогает до глубины души. Рекомендую всем, кто ценит эмоциональные и атмосферные игры.
