About the GameFarm the dead to stay alive.
Welcome to DEADCRAFT, a new twist on the zombie survival-action genre!
In a world ravaged by a deadly virus, half-zombie Reid must survive not only by taking an axe, weedwhacker— anything he can get his hands on—to hordes of the undead, but by growing some zombie followers of his own.
Choose your allies and enemies wisely as you try to make it through the apocalypse alive!
Undead Action
Use Reid’s half-zombie side to unleash devastating powers in battle. Whether your targets are human or undead, crush all who stand in your way!
Zombie Crafting
Collect and plant the corpses of your enemies to grow your very own zombie workers, then scavenge for materials to create all manner of weapons, tools—even some post-apocalyptic cuisine. Don’t stop until you’ve built an unstoppable undead army!
Survival at Any Cost
You won’t survive a day in the wasteland without food and water—earn your living by helping others, or simply take what you want by force.

I'm not really sure why people dislike this game. I'm currently 18 hours in, and about halfway through the story. I haven't run into any glitches, and I like the story as well. There are multiple types of weapons to use if you feel like the combat is getting stale, you can switch to a different weapon type. It's an RPG for $20 that I'd pay double for. I'm hoping they make a second game some day.

I can recommend it though it is much more like a playstation 2 era game. Maps are small, but packed with quests. Characters are pretty wacky in a good way.
Graphics are adequate.
Sounds are good.
Combat is good.
Base building is good.
What I could ask the Devs to do next time? Make it an open-world sandbox instead of following the Harvest Moon/Stardew Valley formula.

TLDR: buy it on sale.
Okay, this is going to be hard to be positive. I'd have to rate this a 6/10 for personal reasons. This game is a GRIND. Some of the grind isn't that bad, other parts of it are downright insane. There is a location you have to go into towards the end of the game just to make a piece of gear you might enjoy using, but required for the story progression. This same location is the only spot you can find certain gear unless you are late/post game and have more than enough money just burning a hole in you wallet. The story isn't bad, but it's predictable. Voice acting is good, but the writing is crap. The keyboard mapping isn't fantastic, and some of the combat options just don't work like you expect. Dodging is the big one I'm looking at, you can still get hit if your dodging. There's a serious delay for some controls in combat as well. And back to that grind I mentioned, one side mission will ask for 1 million currency. Supposedly you can just grind out some farming of gold veggies, but I didn't want to do that.
Have fun with it or skip it, it's your money.

+ simple survival and grinding
+ with yout own zombie army
+ weird ingredients
+ simple story
+ zombie thumbs up
+ oh...there is friendly fire
+ you can attack and kill innocent citizens
+ weird but cool characters
+ love japanese voiceover especially Jessie
+ jessie mode
+ some interesting things can be made
+ old foes, new friends
+ I think I saw Allmight somewhere?
+ lol Marriage (weird)
+ some interesting quests about surviving, death and tragic things
- gameplay can be repetitive
- sometimes zombies can hit friendly units in town, while fighting (turning the town against you)
- or pretty much disturb you while getting away, or moving to certain spots
- omg these npc quest will murder you
- story pretty much low based
- a lot of running around an teleporting (kinda)
Conclusion:
All in all its a pretty solid survival game, with interesting mechanics and skills. weird character in an apocalyptic world. Gameplay is pretty easy, no time limits (except Jessie Mode). You can enjoy it pretty much. This game have some faults and missing some QoL. But its ok and doable. Its pretty fun in its way. You should play it!

Better than reviews were saying. It's basically harvest moon with building a small army of zombies and action-rpg gameplay.
The stamina had me worried, but it's really not a big deal. Just spend all your starting points, which come very quickly, on stamina, being less thirst/hungry, and then go for weapons.
I love the voice acting, i wish there was more, and the gameplay while a mess-- it's very fun.
Really surprised I like it 9/10.
