Edit
After falling endlessly through powerful magnetic storms you wake up in a desolate world. Your memory erased, you soon understand that in order to escape you must climb all the way to the top of a giant Tower that appears in front of you. Equipped with the 'SwitchGun', you set off on a journey full of traps, complex mechanisms and lethal foes, a journey that will finally allow you to solve the mystery surrounding this abstract world…

Always grateful for games like this
The proximity of the checkpoints makes this game perfect for short gaming sesions,
Just one thing. With the volume and effects in 0, some sound remains.

Game is outdated! It's a good game in its own right but I STRONGLY RECCOMEND YOU GET THE DEADCORE: REDUX INSTEAD. The control mapping is broken now -w-

It's definitely not for everybody. It's a very short, but difficult puzzle-platformer played like an FPS. The game can be completed in less than an hour, but my initial run took almost 4 hours.
It's got decent replayability. There's multiple paths in the main story mode that you may be willing to explore once you beat the game for the first time. Places you couldn't access in the beginning are now doable. Not because it was impossible before, but because you've come so far as a player, mastering all the tools you've been given so far. Even if you don't care about the exploration in the game, there's still a drive to best your previous time across the story mode. You don't always know if where you're at in the map is where the developers intended for you to go or not, and that's great. This reminds me of Mario 64 Speedruns, where players intentionally find new ways to play the game, way beyond what the designers could account for.
This game really is about the reward, not so much the journey. The journey could be frustrating at times, but the payoff of getting to the top, and then going through and playing it again when you've become super quick and coordinated: you truly feel a sense of progression and satisfaction after it. Then it becomes easier to appreciate just how mind-bending some parts of the game are. Being a shorter game, I feel the experience of a big payoff is more accessible. I don't think this game will ever grow beyond this single title and I can't justify spending the non-discounted price of $10. But there's definitely a place for this game and it happened to ring well for me.
If you resonate with this review, definitely give this game a shot. I've heard this game could've been snagged for $2.50. If you can get it for that price, you're guaranteed to have a good time

Fun platforming game, the later levels get a bit iffy since they forcibly change your perspective/gravity multiple times in a row

Kind of a floaty platformer. Has obvious speed run stuff going on but they also have just a good number of little things to simply find and rewards taking your time to look around for, which I appreciate. I'm more of an explorer than a speed runner and just really enjoy looking around.
