Better Than Dead Rising 4
Steam User 29
Great game, best used with these fixes, unlocked fps and mouse lag fix,
1. Switch on V-Sync in settings <necessary to remove aim glitch>
2. create text file in :\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\deadrising3
3. open text file and add these lines then save as user.ini:
gmpcr_unlock_frame_rate = True
mouse_smoothing = False
mouse_acceleration = False

Better than DR 4

When DR3 costs more then DR4 you know which one to pick.
I like it.

I loved the original Dead Rising and skipped the second because it started to get silly. While Dead Rising 3 has tons of silly stuff, overall the vibe and atmosphere is a lot more serious and gritty. I was super hyped for it when it came out but there was a lot of hate and I was very busy at that point in my life. Anyways, after the dumpster fire that was the Dead Matter launch I was looking for a new zombie fix and decided to pick this up. It is so close to being everything I've ever wanted in a zombie game. I truly feel this is not just the best Dead Rising (I did eventually get around to playing 2, have not played 4), I believe it's one of the best zombie games I've ever played. I've had a blast playing this and the situations you can get in are amazing. I stay away from OP weapon combos, the lockers, and silly costumes and play with just what I can pick up around and it's perfect. Definitely get this.

A fun title for both seasoned veterans & newcomers.
It's got a healthy amount of action, with character building & customization, fun areas to explore, memorable characters, with a unique horror/zaniness that is distinctly Dead Rising.
For better or worse, it's very similar, but doesn't feel quite like Dead Rising. It's too different. It shines in its own ways & goes off in its own directions - in some ways very well. Personally, it feels more like a spiritual successor to the Dead Rising series, rather than a full, official title - but that isn't to say it isn't fun. It's a great time, but certain mechanics & changes will definitely put off some players.
I was very worried & skeptical, especially with how the game launched & given the reviews here about crashes, deleted saves, frame rate drops, etc. I bit the bullet during a sale however, & purchased it for both myself & my sister. We've had nothing worse than the rare light frame rate drops & the co-op has been a blast.
If you like zombie & action games, this game definitely warrants a look. Even if you don't like the older Dead Rising games, or if you don't like where this newer title goes, there's still plenty of fun to be had here.
