Dead Estate is a gory, fast-paced, challenging, rogue-like shooter with a heavy emphasis on Halloween and other horror influences. Ascend the floors of a monster-filled mansion with 10 unique characters and collect loads of items and weapons, tackle grueling challenges, and discover secrets and unlockables along the way!
Beware of the lurking threats on every floor — some are especially persistent…

For me this game was a case where the art almost made me skip it because Cordelia's cleavage kept being the main thing youtube thumbnails presented you. And once you saw it... that became kind of all you saw. And this kind of de-value the game for me.
I gave it a try, and yeah, I love the game. (At the time of writing, I have taken a break from the game, but I 100% intend to pick it up again to complete it.) It is a roguelike like TBOI and Enter the Gungeon, and like both, even if it shares the same root, the gameplay is different.
You are dropped into a procedurally generated floor, you explore, you get items, get stronger, beat the boss, repeat until final boss, unlock new items and characters, start new run.
