Edit
In 1993 a strange group of 12 people is entrapped by mysterious force inside the abandoned Soviet research base deep in Siberia… DEAD DOZEN is a Multiplayer Action Horror Game where you turn into a ghoul after your death as a human. Loot, barricade and cooperate when you play as a Survivor or infiltrate, infect and eat your former human friends when you play as a Ghoul. Get up instantly after death and kill your former friends. Destroy brittle walls, breach ceilings and floors. Use your special abilities and infect survivors to spread the panic among them.

Let me start of by saying that love this game...even in its current state.
This game has so much potential. I even made a small playlist of it on YouTube (Click HERE to see)
"But if I love this game so much then why am I down voting it?"
Well because the devs have 'disappeared'.
No one has heard from the devs since the 2nd May 2018 - and that was a email to myself. It has been even longer since the devs have said anything on the forum or on Discord. Hell, we are lucky if the devs are even on Discord.
So that leaves us in the following situations:
1. The devs are working on the game and have decided not to say anything until the next update has come out - or ever I guess.
2. The devs have abandoned the game and have purposefully chosen to not confirm this publicly - that way unsuspecting people still buy the game giving the devs more money to abscond with.
For the sake of the game and for all of us who have bought and love this game, i hope it is the first situation.
But for the sake of all those who are reading this now, or whom have yet to come; do not buy this game until the devs have resumed work on the game.
I hope to be able to change this review soon.
Thank you,
Tolgrath

UPDATE - 21st May 2018:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The developers have now responded.
This is what they had to say, and I quote:
"Hi guys!
We apologize for the recent lull in communication. Unfortunately, we ran out of funds to develop the game, therefore, the development team took a break.
We’ll return to the development as soon as we'll find funding."
- Wild_Ed
With that being said, I will be changing my review to an upvote as the only reason I downvoted it was due to the "disappearance" of the developers.
Now maybe it is foolish of me to trust them again so easily, but so be it.
However, should you buy the game please note that there is NO GUARANTEE that the game will be finished. So I would suggest you only buy the game if you willing to accept it as is - and then all future improvements would be a bonus. :)
Anyway, that is my 2 cents - me hoping for the best for this game.
Thank you,
Tolgrath :)

UPDATE - 19th June 2018:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It is official. Development has stopped on this game. The devs posted this message on the forum and all their social media:
"It's time to take stock of the development of DEAD DOZEN. Because from today we stop supporting the game.".
Their full post can be found here:
It is a sad day for us Dead Dozeners.
Alas, let us hope that one day they return to finish what was once started.

Great game I just think the guns are a little to weak. its only fun with like 4 friends in the escape mode but would recommend at least 6-12 obvisouly based on the title's name DEAD DOZEN ESCAPE. Pvp is fun with at least 5 people. DO NOT BUY IF YOU PLAN ON PLAYING SINGLE PLAYER OR JUST 1 or 2 friends IT IS REALLY Boring

This game looks amazing, has an amazing concept and is actually quite scary. Sadly, the game has at most 5 players online on average so it is very hard to find a game. I hope this game explodes one day because I believe this game, with a full server, would be genuinly fun and terrifying. From what I have experienced so far is that you and your team must escape a pyramid that is gaurded by the undead that were once Soviet soldiers like you. When you die, your body will soon turn into the infected and you play as a ghoul.

The game still has a potential. I hope the game will be most cooler game on release!

It's fun, it's simplistic, it's challenging. But it's also dead, which is sad, because it's cheap, and a great team and PVP experience if you can get a lobby of people. I hope and pray that one day this game explodes so that it can some good attention.

Game shows promise, various bugs at the moment but they just released a fix. hopefully all fine now

Giving this game a thumbs up in hopes that more people will start playing it, I think it has a lot of potential but a serious lack in players.
Not without it's fair share of bugs, but lately I'm more surprised when a game doesn't have bugs. Even the wildly popular multiplayer online games has their own set of tedious bugs. And yet people (including myself) still keep playing those.
I think the negative reviews on Dead Dozen is a little unfair, keeping in mind it's still in early access. Lots of room to grow! Just needs more players to give it a shot.
All round I enjoyed the bit i've played so far.
Looking forward to seeing more people playing. Hopefully the bugs will be seen to soon :)
