Dead Cells puts you in control of a failed alchemic experiment trying to figure out what's happening on a sprawling, ever-changing and seemingly cursed Island. Tough but fair combat, responsive controls, challenging foes, permadeath and of course, the emergency panic roll to get you out of trouble, make for a demanding, visceral and cathartic action game. Interconnected levels and progressive unlocking of access to the island provides you with a real incentive to explore your surroundings. Add in a degree of evolution for your character and permanent weapon upgrades. At the end of the day though, it’s YOUR skills as a player that matter most! Roguelites are about constantly getting better, until what was an insurmountable obstacle becomes a walk in the park. Unforgiving combat wed to the absence of any kind of safety net makes for an adrenalin pumping ride each and every run and unrivaled replayability.

Metroidvania Komponente + Roguelike in einem? Kurz und knapp: Dead Cells! Ein verlorener Insel mit Verdorbenheit verdammt ist, sogar die Ungeziefer sind dadurch eine Bedrohung geworden....Also LEBENSBEDROHLICHER als je zuvor! Das macht unseren Körperlose-Geschöpf nix aus, den jeder Run kann ein (Mis)Erfolg werden. Durch neue Routen erscheinen anderen Kreaturen, aber auch neue Items,Waffen & Fähigkeiten, die man mit gewonnene Zellen diese freischalten kann. Die Zellen sind das Fundament um Passive Verbesserungen vorzunehmen oder eben um Items freizuschalten, jedoch kann man die gewonnene Zellen verlieren, wenn man den Löffel abgibt....
Dead Cells ist Anspruchsvoll aber auch Süchtig machend nach jeden Run noch eins zu starten ist hier vorprogrammiert, nach und nach wird es knackiger, da die Gegner dementsprechend in anderen Level immer stärker werden. Nichtsdestotrotz wird hier keine Langeweile geben, da dass Spiel bereits 5 DLCS bei sich hat und natürlich jedes DLC neue Waffen + Items beinhaltet.

Con:
❌Nach gewissen Schwierigkeitsgrad wird es richtig knackig und frustrierend nach wenige Hits down zu gehen
❌Pro gegnerischen Hit ist die Spielfigur kurz gestunt wenn man nun Pech hat und sowas ist mir häufiger passiert, dass man mehrere Hits kassiert hat und keine Möglichkeit hatte auszuweichen/blocken D:
Fazit: Ein Roguevania was ich bis Datu nie gehört habe und es eben nun kennengelernt habe kann ich zum Entschluss sagen, das Dead Cells geil ist. Über meine Spielzeit hinweg fehlte mir noch ein paar Items und bestimmt habe ich bis heute nicht alles entdeckt. Für Nebenbei ist Dead Cells gut geeignet, auf Sale Preis warten oder Vollpreis, man bereut nichts!

If you like roguelites, Dead Cells is absolutely for you. Don't look further.
I spent hours in Hades I and Hades II (and will for sure spent some more in there), but Dead Cells is as perfect as Hades. I like how you can choose how fast you like to play, that you can train as much as you like (even the bossfights!), the music is fantastic, the difficulty just right - it's not easy, but if you stick at it, you can see how fast you get better.
Every run is different and I personally like the morbid humor.
I think, I just found a new favorite game!

One of the best games i've played so far. Its entertaining, frustrating and rewarding at the same time. The progression is insane and its fun to see you getting further and further. 11/10 would recommend. Worth every penny!

Well, if you like suffering but also a emersive fun roguelike experience, you cannot do something wrong with buying this game.
