Dawn of the Falkonir
Dawn of the Falkonir is an online cooperative action-adventure game with asymmetric combat and platforming that takes players through the mountains of Frostfall. Play as Aella, a spunky Falkonir, or Horu, the brave Falcon, as you work together to explore a mountain devastated by wild magic and plagued by nightmarish wraiths to put an end to the corruption. On the continent of Myrelin lies a village to the Northwest known as Frostfall. It is here the kingdom, Kingstone, trains the most elite scout units Myrelin has ever seen, the Falkonirs. It is the Falkonir’s sworn duty to watch over the lands to protect the kingdom from any encroaching armies or outbursts of wild magic and monsters. On a day like any ordinary, Aella begins training with her falcon, Horu, and her mentor. When suddenly the ground trembles and shakes, and a thunderous crack pierces through the air revealing that Mount Bohlgast has unleashed its stored nightmares. Wraiths begin to manifest and envelop everything in their surroundings. With Aella barely saved by Horu’s newfound strength, it is up to the two of them to end whatever wild magic is plaguing their people.

This is a really cool and well done school project with a lot of attention to detail. The art direction, the models, the level design, the animations, all come together nicely. It is a fun co-op game, one you can definitely enjoy with a friend, at no cost. Sure there are a lot of things that need polishing, but again, this is a school project. The team behind this project has put a good amount of effort and it shows.
Do yourself and the devs a favor and try it out, creativity like this needs to be encouraged, so if you feel the need to leave criticism in the form of a review, be sure to do it in a constructive and positive manner, especially since you don't even need to pay for this.

It's a school project yo, lighten up. Had fun playing as Horu with a friend and I hope the developers take pride in their hard work on this game.

Fun little game, very short, Didn't encounter any of the issues other reviewers seem to have, Though movement as the bird felt a little too slow

This is a really good game for a school project! I love co-op games and got through this game without any confusing parts. I like the different shot physics and being able to shoot while being carried. I wish there was one of those mess around tutorial areas though. Good job guys!

Solid proof of concept, fun to play. Takes about 25 minutes to complete. I would love to see these mechanics polished and built out into a full game. It wants a little more in terms of interaction between the characters, but what's there is a solid start. Somewhat cheesable, but it feels fun to do so.

Someone dropped the money to put this on Steam so I could clap my wings as a birb & kill skellies. That's more than I expected and all I needed.
thx :)

Bird's a little slow and sometimes it can be hard to see where you need to go, but other than that, it's a fun 20 minutes or so
