ハイスペ版やる前に
こっちをやれ
本編クリア時点のレビューです（オフラインで18時間プレイ）。当方、Soulborne や仁王シリーズなどをあらかたプレイ済、且つハイスペ版である❝Scholar of the First Sin❞で２回全実績解除済（Steam版、CS版）。
ダクソ2を初めて遊ぶ人はハイスペ版ではなく本作をプレイする事をオススメします。ハイスペ版は本作を改悪してる点が多い為、先にプレイするとダクソ2に対して悪印象を抱く可能性が高いです。
ハイスペ版と比較した際の本作のメリット・デメリットを以下に列記しておきます。参考になれば幸いです。
メリット
・敵配置がウザくない
→喪失者・呪縛者の乱入無し
→闇霊侵入が少ない
・DLC突入が簡単
デメリット
・「隠れ港」がやや難しい
→ルカちゃんの白サインが変
→ガヴァランの配置が変
→篝火へのショトカ無し
・篝火「ストレイドの牢」
→爆発亡者が敵対している
→駆逐しないと物々交換が無理
・オフライン設定が面倒
→ゲーム内で設定不可
→Steam側で設定が必要
・呼べる白霊が少ない
・武器の変質強化解禁が遅い

溶岩城、毒地蔵、アマナ以外は割と楽しかった
アマナがひどすぎる
難しすぎたのて敵が全滅するまで狩り続ける事になった

ダクソ２くん、あなたのことは、嫌いじゃないけど嫌いだよ。
巷で言われているほど、悪くないゲームだと思います。初代ダクソからきっちり進化はしているし、面白い部分もたくさんあるのですが、それらと同じくらい改悪や謎仕様があるせいで異質さが際立っていて、純粋に「2」というより、ダークソウル「1.5」とか「アナザー2」っていう感じがします。物語的にも、2だけ初代にも3にも接続が薄いのも切ないところ。面白いんですけどね。ﾎﾝﾄﾀﾞﾖ。

前作と比べて改善された点もありますが、改悪された部分もあり、特にマップデザインには難があります。理不尽な敵の配置や、数の暴力が目立ち、ボス戦よりも道中の方が苦行になりがちです。そのため、ストレスを感じる場面も少なくありません。挑戦しがいはありますが、楽しめるかどうかは人を選ぶ作品です。
