Gear up to fight your way through the ranks of an insidious cult. Their wretched minds twisted by the will of an unseen entity, you’ll find just as much lead flying back as you dish out, so you’ll have to run, slide, dodge, and make use of your environment to survive in this old-school-inspired shooter.
CULTIC: Chapter One includes 10 maps full of blood, grit, and of course, cultists. After completing the story, you can test your skills in the wave-based Survival Mode, also included with Chapter One.
Chapter Two will be available as paid DLC at a future date, and will continue the story of CULTIC!
CULTIC gives you the freedom to approach combat your way. You can run in guns blazing, running, jumping, sliding, and dodging to keep out of harms way. If you prefer a slower approach, you can lay traps, let your enemies come to you, and pick them off from the safety of cover. Maybe you prefer to weave in between your foes, leading their attacks towards each other, and turning them against one another. With a full arsenal of mid-century firearms and explosives, you’ll be well equipped to slaughter everything in your path – provided you don’t get slaughtered first.
Combat in CULTIC is fast and deadly. Well-placed shots can take your enemies – and yourself – out of the game quickly. Keep on the move or stick to cover, and use your arsenal wisely to stay alive as you fight your way through cult territory.
CULTIC was styled to feel like a throwback to the shooters of yore, but with the advantages of a modern engine, such as physics, lighting, and a fully 3D game world. The gameplay, audio design, and art are all stylized to create a unique experience.

This game is so incredibly good, level design is among the best I have ever experienced in single player shooters and I play the genre since duke nukem 3d came out in the 90s. If you have love for this genre then this game is for you.

Absolut geiles spiel. ich vermisse die alten zeiten. wer duke nukem, doom oder wolfenstein in den 90er gezockt hat wird hier definitiv auf seine kosten kommen. absolut zu empfehlen!!! ich hoffe vom entwickler kommen noch mehr spiele dieser art.
An absolutely awesome game. I miss the old days. Anyone who played Duke Nukem, Doom, or Wolfenstein in the 90s will definitely get a kick out of this. Highly recommended!!! I hope the developer releases more games like this.

I long searched for a Game that give me the same or nearly the same feeling like BLOOD.
This Game is the Solution.
I love the Setting, i love the feeling in the Game, damn i LOVED this little Perl.
I Hope that Jasozz makes more such great Games in the Future.
Its not so easy to find something that is like BLOOD 1.

Ein Boomer-Shooter mit interessanten Artdesign und spooky Setting, smoothen Gameplay, abwechslungsreichen Leveln und angenehmer Spiellänge.
Kann man auf jeden Fall nichts mit falsch machen, vorallen für fast nen 10er.

Sehr guter Retro-Shooter / Boomer-Shooter. Eines der Wenigen, wo man sich wirklich zurück in die 90er zurückversetzt fühlt. Wer damals z.B "Blood" suchtete, der kommt hier voll auf seine Kosten.
Es gibt 2 Kapitel, mehr werden laut Entwickler leider nicht kommen, da die Geschichte komplett erzählt wurde. Je Kapitel braucht man auf "normal" ca 10-12 Stunden. Kostenpunkt knappe 10 Euro ohne Sale. Dieser Preis ist absolut in Ordnung.
Eventuelle Kontras:
-paar kleinere Bugs, nichts Ärgerliches, hauptsächlich Grafik-Glitches.
-paar Bosse sind für "normal" zu schwer. Auch, weil es sich im Bosskampf nicht speichern lässt. "Normal" ist der zweitleichteste Schwierigkeitsgrad von insgesamt 5.
-Vor allem im 2 Kapitel gibt es oft Abschnitte, wo man gefüllt Ewigkeiten nur rumläuft und Items sucht, was dem Spannungsbogen nicht sonderlich zugute kommt, vor allem, da die Levels dort sehr groß sind.
Unterm Strich ist es ein top Boomer-Shooter mit toller Retro-Grafik und atmosphärischer Sound und Musikuntermalung. 9,5/10
