In this game mode you have to reach the finish line of each level before your battery runs out. World Mode takes you through 6 different worlds that each have their own unique contraptions and enemies that will try to destroy you. The final level of each world is a big boss fight.

Awesome indie game, take it from an expert!! 9/10!
Can't understand the slightly negative reviews, it's not that hard. Once you get in the flow, the only hard thing is trying to stop. This is the best runner game on Steam. Period. Maybe people didn't get the update,or they didn't give it a fair try. Don't know. Don't care.
Stronlgy recommend.

Crashbots:
~~~~~~~~~
How good are your reflexes? Would you say they are rusty, average or top notch! Well, you will need to have top notch reflexes if you want to take control of the latest line of fighting robots. So, are you ready to enter the world of Crashbots? (Don’t blame the messenger if your reactions are not up to scratch.)
Crashbots is a runner/arcade shooter game, developed and published by Neonchimp Games, where you control one of five robots through fun and challenging parkours.
The game offers two modes of play: story and endless.
As you launch the story mode, you’ll go through a small tutorial at first, and then be introduced to the first of five worlds available in the game. Each of the worlds has 25 levels to beat, which includes a boss level. However, you’ll have to collect stars throughout each stage to unlock all the world. Each time you collect 50 stars, you’ll unlock a new world.
Most of the stages are small, but full of obstacles to avoid and enemies to eliminate! Your robots have a few abilities within their design. All have weapons, a jetpack, armour and energy. All these components can be upgraded in the robot workshop as long as you have collected enough coins to do so.
The goal in each of the stages is to get your robot to the finish line and make sure you have collected all the stars, so you can unlock new worlds quickly. Before the level start, the camera will show you the end of the level and then move rather quickly through the parkour, backwards, to show you what types of obstacles and enemies your robot will be facing. As soon as the camera hits the start point, your robot will then move and start the stage. Your robot will consume energy when it moves, uses its jetpack or slides down. If all the energy has been consumed before your robot reaches the end, it’s game over and you’ll have to restart the stage. Each time your robot touches an obstacle or gets hit by an enemy projectile, your energy gauge will go down very quickly. Therefore, you must look for where the batteries and the energy symbol are positioned on the parkour to regenerate your energy gauge. Make sure to shoot all crates, chests and vases, depending on which world you are playing in, as they sometimes contain batteries. The good news is that shooting doesn’t draw down your energy. In fact, each time you hit a target it will go towards recharging your heavy weapon. The other ability that doesn’t affect your energy is the speed ability. You can use it at your leisure, but it will take time to recharge.
As you progress through each of the worlds, the levels will become harder and harder with multiple types of obstacles and enemies. Also, all levels have an additional three challenges to complete and if you manage to do so, you’ll be given extra coins for your trouble. Don’t forget to collect as many coins as possible in each of the stages - you’ll need plenty of coins to upgrade your robots!
The boss fight is really fun! Not only they will spit out obstacles left, right and centre, but they’ll also send enemies at you. On your end, you have to hit the target on the boss!
The graphics and the soundtrack are good. You can play with a gamepad or with the keyboard. I did have a few hiccups with the gamepad while shooting. I personally like the balance of the game; it’s not to fast or slow and has plenty of variety to keep you entertained for a while.
Positives:
~~~~~~~
+ Nice graphics
+ 5 worlds with 125 levels to beat
+ Fun and challenging
+ Achievements
Negatives:
~~~~~~~~
- No trading cards as yet
- Can be frustrating at times
Crashbots is a fun, challenging and well-balanced game with stacks of levels to beat!
7/10
