Countess in Crimson

Best adult game I played in a while.
Think Count Dracula, as it shares many similarities; the protagonist gets lost in Eastern Europe during a vacation, and next thing you know, turns out the lady in the castle is more than she seems.
Plot-wise, the effort is there, with many mechanics, such as personality traits, determining the endings and scenes that you get, encouraging you to try multiple playthroughs.
Visually, the game is beautiful, with free roam areas being well detailed, all the characters are stunning, the atmosphere is on point, and the supernatural is amazingly well crafted.
The scenes are also the most detailed I've ever seen, with the only drawback being that everything feels like it should be a lot faster. But no detail is spared; from the bouncing skin, the lights and shadows, the sounds, every scene is like a painting.
This is what an adult game should be; engaging, beautiful, daring, memorable. I'm looking forward to the upcoming DLC, which promises new characters, and even more scenes with the pre-existing ones.

This game is first and foremost a point-and-click visual novel with some pseudo-dating sim mechanics. You're not going to be taking any of these ladies on dates, but your dialogue choices add upon three separate stats, each one correlating to two of the ladies. You still end up banging everyone, but knowing how to maximize a stat will unlock their "master" scene.
In that sense, this game is all about being a completionist, which is perfect for the VN medium. There's even a checklist in game of all the achievements possible.
If there's one thing that I can say that really jars me, it's the lack of a skip dialogue button. You never know what you miss until it's not there. :(
Still, this just means that instead of blazing through the story like you would a lot of VNs, you should take your time with this one. Take breaks. Read every word and if it bores you, go do something else for 5.

I played the "demo" version and decided that the content was worth it.

The downside is that to open the master scenes you need 16 and 19 points respectively. All characters and quests give a maximum of 19, 19 and 16 points. So you can't open everything in one playthrough. The animations are great, but not enough.

Great characters, great models. Eva, Countess, Magdalena, Aliyah are a great idea. We need more content.
The story is okay. Having a gallery for ALL scenes is just a great solution.

It might be a weird way to put it, but the Game reminds me in some Areas more at one of these (modern) Hidden Object Games (like True Fear and such) then a traditional Point & Click Adventore or Visual Novel. The Artistic direction, esp. how characters are animated in the world, the way you navigate through the map as well the level of Interaction & Puzzles go into this direction.
That being said that isn't meant in a negative sense because the Games offers quite a high quality art/3D Models, the Choice-System while maybe still somewhat simplistic does a pretty good job with shaping up your personality in the game as well the sanity and curiousity bar which effects the outcome and some minor other stuff. The Sex-Scenes itself are rather kinky but extremely well made/high quality and you need to be open up to certain fetishes (tho futa is optional and you can disable it in the settings).
What surprised me the most tho is the Atmosphere and how quite well the Story is written which interwines smut with some specific horror,- and religious themes.
The only critique so far which i've is, that - and don't get me wrong on this for the pricepoint you get quite amount of content, because it's so well done - even with the DLC bundled in, i just wished there would be more content to explore from sexscenes to the overall atmosphere and lore/story, to some more characters etc.

Well detailed point-and-click game with a horror/supernatural edge. Every love interest has fantastic designs for each potential love interest with everything between fairly vanilla and cute barmaid to potentially demonic succubi. One might be surprised that the story is fairly well written. Between choices, routes, character interactions, and general world building it doesn't really miss a step. That being said, the game is missing a dialogue skip step which makes replay a bit of a slog if you're going for different relationship or endings. This paired with the fact that menus (loading, saving, options, etc.) and some interactions take a few seconds to transition which only makes it a bit more annoying. Still, all the scenes are great with smooth loops, additional settings, and even skins (though these are used in conversations only).
Overall, it's a solid game that stands out among the saturated market this game stands in. Genuinely looking forward to more content if not an outright sequel/prequel that can give us an even greater variety of scenes and story.

Game took me about 3 1/2 hours on the first play through. Multiple endings and more girls than you can 'unlock' on one playthrough give cause to play it through again. The game is basically a visual novel with simple point and click story mode. The sex scenes are great although not extremely substantial , hte game has a nice bit of eroticism which a lot of porn lacks and the art of the game is often pretty and sometimes quite striking, the horror elements are cool.
