Going on an adventure is a lot of fun but it is also a costly activity. Especially with a troll guarding every single bridge and demanding payment.
The further you go, the more expensive it gets. Luckily there are plenty of treasure chests to beat the gold out of.
Costly Adventure is a unique spin on Match-3 game with RPG elements.
Features
- 5 fantasy characters to match
- 30 levels with increasing difficulty
- 3 boss battles
- 2 talent trees focusing on a different play-style
- 24 unique talents, each changing the way you match
- Achievements to collect
- Attributes and items to make your dream build

I really enjoy this game. I like match three games in general, but I like this one best because of the characters and the strategy with the skill trees. It is also great to replay over and over to try to beat it using all the different paths as well as beat your high score. I would recommend it to everyone!

This is a really cool matching game! You are fighting/looting treasure chests, and if you beat it, you go further down the map and get a choice of rewards. Then, you go to camp, pay the troll toll to save the boy's soul, equip inventory items, and distribute skill points. Then on to the next fight. There is an ending to the run when you beat the last boss and get the orb.
The dynamics of the game and skill point progression are really what make this. Skill points add abilities to the tiles (which are different characters, like paladin, druid, etc). For example, a certain skill gives attacking next to a paladin an attack bonus. After a match, the paladin next to each character becomes highlighted to let you know that it was adjacent. Another example, the paladin and druid can be linked so that when one attacks, the other attacks. The game shows a wavy line every so often between the two indicating that they are linked.
So rather than a bunch of flashy effects when matching that don't really mean much, the match indicates special effects and the total damage done for every match, including cascades - on every tile/character matched. So, nearing the end, matches look pretty awesome with all of the effects, but they also indicate what is happening (taking into account skills chosen).
This is a pretty awesome buy, and the price is good. I would buy this again, even if it's not on sale.
